Bad Deca shot n my ass!!

Monday, I shot 1cc of Deca 200ml per ml. This is my second week, second shot. Area was clean, new needle and syringe. I can barely walk. My ass is HUGE, "swollen!" Red and Very sore. I've taken deca many times before and never had this happen. By the way, the first shot was in my right cheek and was a lil sore and just a lil swollen. This gear is from a different guy. I trust this dude more than anyone else.

Do I need to go to the doctor? Should I be worried? I have done plenty of roids over the last 15yrs, never had this happen. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Did it hurt as soon as the pin broke skin or later on?

Answer to your first question: Yes, that's a good idea.

Answer to your second question: Maybe a little. Are you running a fever? Does the area feel hot?

Not a doc but here's my opinion: If it started within ~24 hrs you don't have an infection probably a reaction to the oil. Probably started as a knot and then a little sore. Then a little later redness showed up along with worsening pain. Then more redness, swelling, warm to the touch, and feeling like a mule kicked you. Are you allergic to bee stings? Try a couple of Advil gel caps for the pain. Could be the gear is EO based and you are allergic to that. Either way I wouldn't use the gear, to me dealing with all that isn't worth it. If things don't start to setle down in 3 - 4 days maybe that trip to the doc would be necessary. Again, this is only an opinion.

You were right on the money with all that you stated. The swelling has gone down, not as hot and still a lil tender. I've layed on a heating pad four 3 days. It is def the gear. Some solvent my body is rejecting. Man, thank for the input.

I'm willing to bet this is a response to Ethyl Oleate. Check the label on your gear, it SHOULD say if it contains ethyl oleate or not.

This. I had an abscess. it takes a while to develop prol any where from 4 days to a few weeks. in my case it took about 2 weeks. It sucked. Anyhow, it might be that your gear has more than usual BA. Some UGL guys add more to make sure there is no chance of infection. Problem is that it causes inflammation in the muscle. There are a couple of things you can do that alleviate the pain somewhat if this is the case. You can warm the gear. I don't know why this works but some feel it does. The other thing is to buy a 100 ml bottle of sterile oil, like Cotton seed oil. Cut your gear 1:1 with it and it will be a lot more comfortable.

Warming helps. It works because the oil disperses more and the gear doesn't camp in the injection site as bad.

Good advice not just for this but anybody who lives in a cold climate. Hell, I live in California and sometimes if it is too cold my gear causes some knotting after injection. Soon as I started warming it up, no problems whatsoever.

I always keep anti'bs on hand just in case, but some people react badly to EO, i did but my body eventually adjusted to it and it no longer causes me problems. If it was an infection you would most likly be running a fever.
