    Blood after injection

My girl just shot me in the side delt. She aspirated, but quite a bit of blood came out after pulling the needle... Is this typical?

Yea a bit more clarification ….. was the blood in the syringe when she aspirated or was there blood when she withdrew the pin from the skin??? Because if the blood came after removing the pin from the skin then your good, it could just be that she punctured a blood vessel on the way in.

Sometimes you bleed a lot, no big deal, just compress the area until it stops bleeding.

Or are you saying as she withdrew the needle after pinning, you saw blood? if thats the case, just apply pressure with an alcohol soaked cottonball for a minute or two.
She said she aspirated, saw no blood then injected. The blood poured out after pulling pin from my delt. I think she just pierced a blood vessel on the way in or sum10

Okay... That's what happened. What could happen if injected into a vein?

If you injected into a vien or blood vessel you will be on the floor coughing, vomiting, and pretty much thinking that your going to die, but you most likely wont die unless you put 3 cc's into a blood vessel.
