I've never seen a post with what optimum test levels should be while on a cycle so I decided to check my total and free test levels while in the middle of my cycle and wanted to see if anyone had any feedback..
This is my third cycle:
Sustanon 250 at 750 mg/week for 12 weeks (1000 mg first week)
Dbol 40 mg/day for 5 weeks
Tren Acetate 50/mg day for last 6 weeks of cycle (I have not started the tren yet and have never used it before)
Total test level before the cycle: 593 ng/dL (normal range between 240 - 850 ng/dl)
--> Total test level after 5 weeks: 3264 ng/dL (normal range between 240 - 850 ng/dl)
--> Free test level after 5 weeks: 12.50 ng/dL (normal range between .40 - 3.0 ng/dl)
So I have about 5 times the total test after 5 weeks of the Sustanon at 750/mg week than my normal test level (I didn't have my free test level checked before the cycle)...
I have done all 3 cycles using the same Sustanon 250 and have had ZERO external sides...
no bloat
no gyno
no testicular atrophy
no acne (maybe just a little on shoulders)
no hair loss
I have made good gains going from 175 lbs to 200 lbs at 6' 1" (total gain from all two and a half cycles)...
Question is does that sound about right for test levels while on a cycle?
Is there any advantage to increasing amount of test per week as i have no "noticeable" sides?
I have arimidex (anastrozole) on hand but I thought there would be noticable sides from high estrogen such as gyno or low sex drive?
What blood test do i get for that? just ask for estrogen levels?
If it is high just take the arimidex at .25 mg ED or EOD?
I thought 25 lbs of lean muscle was pretty good for my tall and lean ectomorphic body type!!?? I'm certain if I eat more I could gain more weight but I have been trying to keep the fat and water gain as low as possible...

You should be taking an AI regardless if you feel sides or not. Just cause you don't feel them, doesn't mean that the elevated estrogen is not doing you harm it is. One day you find a lump, and then it will be too late. Amongst a host of other issues related to High estrodiol levels.

I agree. You should also use caution, and not drive estrogn too low, which can also cause many problems.
The sweet spot is different for everyone, so dont really worry about that. As long as your well above what they consider baseline test levels then your primed for growth as long as your eating and training right.
Oh, for estrogen levels, i just ask for a full hormone panel, they take like 8 vials of blood for it, but it tells you everything.
I had mine checked last year. Believe it or not, from 2 shots of test cyp and masteron, it came back at over 1900. He didn't tell me what my estrogen level was but he did say that was high too and recommended arimadex and nolva. A good indication for me was the sex drive and how I felt. If you feel like a women going through menapause, I'd be willing to bet your levels might all be too high for you. Of course that is just me and everyone will have thier own opnion on that. IMO, get some arimadex asap!

I forgot to add, he told me 1900 was off the chart for a 36 yr old. That might just be a doc trying to cover his ass. Some hcg 3 times a week might not be a bad idea too. I was a little bloated and all that slimmed me up good with just pure muscle gains. No water!
