    Corticosteroids

I know this is an anabolic forum, but to be honest, some of you guys know more than most pharmacologists and nurse practitioners (even some Docs) so....

I got 2.5ml (can't remember the mg dosage, but was average for my BMI) in the glute. The stuff cured my severe seasonal allergies which usually last for a couple months a year so I'll just get the injection once. Its the first time I've ever treated my allergies this aggressively. Usually, I just take eye drops, antihistamines, and decongestants until the cows come home...and they only half ass work.

Anyone have any experience with Methylprednisolone acetate?
Depo Medrol (Methylprednisolone Acetate Injectable Suspension) Drug Information: Uses, Side Effects, Drug Interactions and Warnings at RxList

I ask my Doc about any meds to help spur the natural production of cortisol from the adrenal glands after the Methylprednisolone dose runs its course....ie like PCT. The Doc looked at me like I was crazy and said she never her of it. I've only run a few AS cycles in my life (4+years ago) and always ran PCT for obvious reason...is the game the same with corticosteroids?

BTW, its been a long time since I've gotten an injection from a nurse or doc...and I remember why I hated them when I was a kid. The nurse spent about 2sec sticking me and shooting 2.5ml. Felt like cement going it. I prefer my slow injections that took 30sec to complete. much more comfortable.

Almost forgot, the only side effect I'm a little paranoid about getting in having my fat and/or muscle tissue die in the area of the site injection...and then the skin sinking in creating a "crater". I've been reading about quite a few patients complaining about this.

No bro corticosteroids are different from Anabolic steroids you dont need a pct. A one time dose of corticosteroids shouldnt have any real affect on your ATP axis. But dont take any aas while on Corticosteroids
