I did some blood work yesterday as I am getting ready to run my first cycle of test e. I got them back today and my cholesterol and tyglicerides came back slightly high. normal ranges are 50 to 200 mg/dl and I have 231.5. this is for my cholesterol. for tyglicerides normal ranges are 35 to 160 mg/dl, mine came back at 176.
Are these levels too high to get on my test cycle?
Testosterone GENERALLY does not effect cholesterol levels too much. Some people it will more effect more than others though.
So, I'm sure it won't kill you or anything, but if it were me I might wait a bit longer to try to get your entire lipid profile in a little more order.
Like I said though, test USUALLY doesn't effect it much, so it's up to you really..
Ok bro heres the thing. Please dont take this as a call out or me calling you a liar or anything cause thats not my intention. K see the problem with your profile is that your free test is already higher than the normal limits an you have slightly elevated cholestorol. So what this tells me is either you recently came of or came on or your pretty young so which is it bro we cant help you unless your honest and I would like to help so what arent you telling us? This is just a guess but since your free test is not real high but still up an this is your first cycle I'm gonna venture a guess at about 18-20yo.
I have never done any cycle before and I am almost 30 years old believe it or not. I was born on 08/1980. I don't have no reasons to lie, why would I do that?
I actually didn't realize my test was that high as you said, I checked and it looks within normal ranges. Can you explain? I am currently running a clenbuterol along cycle to help me come off a little bit more my BF before I get on the test, I don't know if this somehow is influencing the results of the blood test.
Share your thoughts. I am all ears for good advice.
If you refer to the number 0.131 in my free test. I believe there is a mistake in the extra one and it should 0.13; otherwise, it would have reflected 0.131H indicating there was more than normal testosterone levels.
Your free test is 0.131 (range 0.09 - 0.43) ng/ml (this is in the bottom 12% of the range)
Your total test is 4.19 (range 1.9 - 11.4) ng/ml (this is in the bottom quarter of the range)
Thyroid function appears normal.
Your lipids are mildly elevated but your ratio is good. I see the glucose result - did you happen to get a fasting blood glucose? Elevated fasting glucose and triglycerides go hand in hand. If I had these values, I'd drop my carbohydrate consumption dramatically.
Testosterone deficiency can promote elevated lipids and insulin resistance. Just sayin'.
PS your red blood cells and hematocrit are already elevated. You might want to consider donating blood to keep these in a healthier range.

Thank you so much Built! I appreciate your advice....I have tried to donate blood, but I am not very good at telling lies, i have never qualified. I had a hepatitis many years ago and that makes me not to be a great candidate.
My hemoglobine has been to 18 in the past with tyglycerides super high as well as my cholesterol. I guess this is a tendency I have, because i am decently active and I do tons of cardio. My liver wasn't too healthy 1 year ago, it was very fatty, but it is fine now after I lost 30 pounds on the HCG protocol by Dr. Simons. My cholesterol was also gone! I thought it was taken care of, but apparently it is recovering pretty fast. I increased my Omega-3 intake and I will definately reduce my carbs. Wouldn't reducing my carb on gear affect my gains? What can I put up for energy?
yuyi, I'd clean up my diet first, then re-test - then get on the gear.
You may handle carb better on gear, but you won't be living on gear unless you're on HRT, and even then you want a diet that works in YOUR body, yanno?
PS many of us make gains just fine, gear or no gear, on lower carbs than most.
