    What gear to run

    I am currently trying to decide what gear i would like to cycle on. This will be my first AAS cycle. So i have been trying to as much research as possible. I am looking to gain muscle size but still want to remain pretty cut.. 10-20lbs of muscle growth is the goal.. have been lifting and taking supps for about 5 years. Ready to try the real deal. Any suggestions?

    If you have been doing as much research as possible you should have a first cycle laid out, at least somewhat. Give us your plans and we will CRITIQUE them, not spoon-feed you.



    If you don't really have any plans yet then you have not done "as much research as possible".

    Indiana, huh? Cool. I'm from indiana myself. I see you have been lifting for five years. I commend you on that. I think what is safest is first tell us you'r basic stats. Age, weight, goals, etc. Do you have your diet in check? If not or you have any questions there's a site you may find interesting called fitday.com. If you type in your daily food and supps it can help you to see your protein, calories, fats, etc. Go through that and I bet you will like it. Then there is a section on here to help you with you'r routines at the gym. Perhaps critique yourself and make improvements there. Then you will get a lot more help from a lot of vets here on a potential cycle. Read all about compounds aswell. Most likely you will want to keep it very basic for your first time out. Learn all about ai's, serms, HCG and a proper PCT. As you begin to have all this down there are several folks on this board that are more than willing to help you at that point to put something together that will give you great results and be safe. Get out the pen and paper and begin. You will find it all very interesting and it will reward you in the end.

    Thanks for the input so far guys. Roaddking thanks for the sugestions and the site info.. I appreciate it. your right i forgot to put my basic stats on here. I am 23years old, and about 6 foot 195 lbs. My body fat right now is about 8-8.5%. I have been a basketball player all my life including college..I just finished up my 4 year off college ball. So i have always been a lean guy, but started putting on muscle mass starting my freshman year of college. Now that basketball is over i can concentrate on the weights. My goal is to gain 10-20lbs. I want to still stay around my same bf percent when doing so. I am looking for lean muscle mass gains. Thanks for the input!

    O also I'm not trying to have anyone "spoon feed" me. I was simply askin for some advice. I do have a basic idea. I was thinkin of taking Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca) at about 400mg-500mg a week for 8 weeks. And maybe stacking it with winstrol. Or i thought about jus doing deca and a test cycle. Doing low test dosages. I would def run pct with this. I was thinking i would run nolva and maybe clomid.
    So please dont act like I have no idea what im talking about. I am going grad school to be a physical therapist and a Sports performance specialist.. So i would say I have a little bit of knowledge in the field..

    Hey champ, I come from a basketball background myself!

    First of all you do not want to run deca lower than your testosterone, you'll get "deca dick" (you wont be able to get it up).

    Most here are going to tell you the old rule of thumb, 500mg of testosterone a week for 10 - 12 weeks. You can throw in an oral if you like what that oral is depends on your goals etc, Dbol may cause you to get a puffy look unless your using an AI.

    But I think it is safe and fair to say that the general say 500mg of testosteroen a week.

    Now off subject, what college di you play ball for? div 1? what were your stats like?

    Please understand That I'm not act'n like you don't know what you're talk'n about, I would value the knowledge if you would be so kind as to teach on the logic behind a few things as I'm always open to learn

    1. I don't understand the Deca / winny cycle without or even with a low dose of some ester of test. Test dose being lower than the DECA.

    2.As I understand compounds and combin'n them. Deca and Nolva have never been friends. Is there some protocol that I may not be aware of perhaps.

    3. I noticed you didn't mention an AI , does that mean you wouldn't use one ?

    Thanks for the input. Ya sorry for not makin everything so clear. I wouldnt use lower than deca. I was thinkin about 500mg of test. I just know some people who take a lot higher dose than 500mg. And no i played at a d2 school. But my stats thro school was pretty nice. I avg 19 a game my junior and senior years..Freshman and soph was around 12.. Nice to have a fellow basketball player on here..

    And ya i didnt mention an AI i would think that would prolly be a def. right? I have read that the deca and winstrol has been a very popular cycle for lean muscle gains. I have never heard of the bad mix between deca and nolva.. Not sayin your not right..I appreciate the feedback and i am always lookin for knowledge like your own. Thanks!

    Also have heard good and bad about d bol.. Some friends say they have tried it and loved it as a stand alone cycle.. But also have heard not a good stand alone aas.. Any takers?? thanks

    As the guys have said you cant go wrong on 500 mg's of test e or cyp
    for 10 -12 weeks.
    No need to stack on your first cycle imo.
    Have adex on hand as an AI i find 0.5 mg's eod keeps bloat at bay etc.
    Then 2 weeks after your last shot start taking nolva.
    Week 1 60mg's ed
    week 2 40mg's ed
    week 3 20mg's ed

    Eat clean and Keep your sodium intake down as much as possible and drink
    plenty of water this should help if you suffer from water retension.
