I haved been on HRT for years. Ran a couple of decent cycles during that time. My doc has always insisted on Androgel. While I can't complain, I always had the feeling injectable, even with it's peaks and troughs was superior. Later, my insurance went from $15 for a 3 month supply to $180, so I cried bulllshit to my doc. He switched me to test cyp injections, the ridiculous 200 mg every 2 weeks.
I have been doing that for about a year now. THEN there was a problem with my last script. I called... and they said they would fix it. Which they did.
I just received 3 bottles of 2000 mg test cyp, with a renewal date 8 weeks from now! To the mathematically challenged, I could do a 750mg/wk cycle for 8 weeks, and order more!
They probably will catch it, and since I am 54 and having problems with PSA and high hemoglobin, I am going to be a good boy and just do my 100mg per week, but damn....The blues had a baby, and they named it Rock and Roll

Unfortunately, insurance is reducing coverage on creams be reclassifying them.

My PSA was .90 18 months ago, now it is 3.1. Doc is freaking because of the velocity, meaning that is too much of a jump. I just did bloodwork on Friday, and will see him 6/22.... wish me luck. I hear prostate biopsies are very painful. Originally Posted by 2tomlinson

Some pharmacies want you to use a new vial after 30 days from using it. Basically they want to make sure the T is fresh and not contaminated so you are supposed to toss the vial after 30 days from first drawing from it. I imagine this will be the reason for the extra meds.
