30 year old male, training since I was 15 and quite seriously since I was 17. I am currently at 216 lbs, 5’ 11” and probably around 15% body fat. I train very intensely twice a day (cardio and weights separate) and my diet is spot on.
Purpose of cycle: To gain lean body mass. Perhaps add 10lbs and drop a significant amount of fat. Protein is high, fat is moderate and carbs are low – overall diet is spot on and sodium intake is low.
Cycle History (no need to poke fun, some classic newbie mistakes)
• At 17 ran what I think was methyltest and greatly improved my physique
• At 18 ran 5 weeks of sten (pathetic), but increased strength further and ended at a flat bench 1 rep max of 365 lbs.
• At 25, ran first real cycle which was still paltry. Consisted of sustanon at 500mg/week for 8 weeks, winny tabs at 50mg a day for 4 weeks and some deca for joint lube. Gained 20+ lbs of lean muscle and was in the best shape of my life. Added a few inches on my arms and strength went through the roof.
Cycle to date:
Had taken off 4 years (periodic training but not dedication), 4 months ago I got back into a solid routine. Started jogging and dropped 20 lbs, after a few months I started a cycle with 400mg sustanon and 400mg eq. I know these are low doses, but I wanted to see what results I would get before bumping it up. Now, i’m on week 5 and have dropped a few inches on my waist and increased strength and the size of my muscles all over (maybe 1” on my arms so far while dropping bodyfat). I’ve actually improved my physique so much (more vascular, abs are coming out and my strength is up across all lifts) that I am wondering if its due to my training, diet and rest more so than the sust/eq considering thes dosages.
What I am thinking for the rest of it:
Now, I have quite a bit of sustanon and am thinking of going up to 525mg/week and running it a total of 16 weeks (10 weeks and a few days beyond where I am now). The EQ is going to run out at 10 weeks and I honestly am not sure if I makes sense to get more to run it for the entire 16 weeks with the sustanon. What does everyone think?
Also, I have 3000 mg of var (10mg x 300 tabs). I am trying to decide whether or not I should run it at 40 for 9 weeks or 60 for 6. I have spent days reviewing old posts and some seem to say 60 is the sweet spot while others say real var should do the job at 40mg and 80mg is more than is necessary unless it is cheap UG product. Mine is Omega (mods please delete name if that violates any rules). Also, are there any specific liver support products that you guys recommend? I’m thinking Liv52.
PCT
I have also been pinning 250 of hcg twice weekly and running .5 adex eod (prone to gyno). As I said, in the first 5 weeks, things have gone so well. Is upping the dosage a bad idea if I am making gains at this level and simply want to help preserve mass and add maybe 10 lbs or lean body mass over 16 weeks. In the past, I have blown up with low dosages, so I plan on continuing cardio 7 days a week, keeping sodium low and training extremely intensely (a lot of drop sets and double and triple sets).
Since I have been running HCG and will run it to the end of the 16 weeks, pct will consist of clomid (50mg for 30 days), nolva (40mg for a week and 20 for 3 additional weeks). I also plan on getting alpha sustain and hcgenerate. May run some clen as well at that time.
Again, thank you in advance. I understand I’ve asked quite a few questions and have spent quite a bit of time researching them before posting.
bump up your sustanon and run it for the 16 weeks if you like.
add the var for the last 4 - 6 weeks 50mg. Although I have seen others run it higher I have not used it so might wanna get advice from someone who has used var.
also use some cholesterol lowering supps while on cycle but even more so if your going to use the var, from the guys I know who have used it, it smashes their cholesterol up.
Thanks BTB. Should I bump the dose to 525 as well or just continue running at 400 since I am seeing solid results? Also, do you think I would be better off saving the var for another cycle? As I said, its going well so far.
The EQ does not kick in until around week 5, so the 400mg might be right for you so maybe hold off another week at that dose and see. If you have enough of the Sustanon to run it at 525mg for 16 weeks then go.
I'm going into week 6, ran sustanon at 400/week up until now and will move to 525 for 10 more weeks. May buy some more eq since I have read it does take more time to work. I will say that I have become much more vascular in the near 6 weeks that I have been running sus/eq and adex (not sure how much of it is due to adex cutting water).
Yes, the half life of the ester is longer than that of the esters in sustanon. I'm planning on stopping it at the end of 10 weeks. Unless, I am seeing great results and get more, in which case I will run it up to 3 weeks pre PCT.
