During the last couple of weeks I have been pushing myself to see what my natural 1RM is before switching to the dark side. I smashed my PB on deadlift but two days later I suffered some pretty nasty back pain which hasn't subsided as yet.
I've been taking anti-inflammatories and the pain is slowly easing from day to day. I'm just wondering if an AAS cycle would actually speed up recovery as lower back pain is usually caused by muscle strain.
I felt great after the lift and there was no "click" in my spine therefore I doubt it's a serious injury.
I didn't want to start a thread for this but there's no info online about gears helping with muscle strain.
No, I've never suffered from any form of spinal damage. I've had this pain before and it usually lasts about six weeks. I've been to the doc a couple of times with this pain and he gets me to do a few exercises (which I've performed at home since the injury) and tells me it's only muscular and I'll be fine within no time.
I'm certain that it's simply a muscle strain but it does hurt and at the moment it is effecting my workouts as yesterday I dropped squats and I won't be deadlifting in two days time.
I started my cycle last week and I'm a bit pissed at the fact I may not be able to give it 100% while on cycle. The gear hasn't kicked in as yet therefore I'm just curious as to what will happen when it does.
I'm hoping that it will be a magic cure
EDIT: The pain is located just above my tailbone on both the left and right sides and it has caused stiffness which is slowly going away. There is no "shooting" pain of any kind and is more like an ache.

If its a disk issue, can deca help fix the problem? Or is that more for making stiff joints loosen up?
There's no need for a sarcastic attempt at humour, especially when it's not funny
Look up back pain and read for yourself. It's usually an issue cause by the muscles that support the spine. Seeing as thou AAS use speeds up recovery I would think that it is a legititmate question.
I've never cycled before therefore I'm asking those who have.

No I was actually being serious. I have disk issues and i've read that deca can help, but usually just masks the pain. I'm really curious if maybe I should try a cycle of deca and see if it helps. I've have many treatments, including injections into my spine (twice).
I was no way trying to be a dick, but actually trying to get help as well.
deca at a good dosage will improve anything as far as discomfort in the back area, tailbone, disc. try it helps. but do a good dosage to get good results.

roid i dont think its his first cycle but thats better advice, go see a dr. then use some deca. you fuck up your back youll no it right away. but if its going away to a dull ache, its probably nothing to worry about. but yes i should of said that. and most people who undergo back surgery wish they never would have gone through with it, there more fucked up then when they first messed it up. but iam not saying you hicks just people that need surgery in general. thnx roid for adding that brother.
