anyone with medical background?
hey anyone with a med background? got a Q about the sterile factor with powder gear thats packed by God knows who.
Say some filthy son of a bitch packs your gear and has cuts their hands or uses filthy as hell shit to pack the powder, on the off chance they had something can it be cross contaminated to your powder if it comes in contact?
Might sound like a stupid Q but I have asked before with no answers so I am asking again, I am a hygene freak but my brother is waaaaaaaay worse hence me posting in here asking.
anything would be good.

also whatman filters can filter most viruses. i think there is like 2 or 3 viruses it cannot filter, in which case the heated oil kills it anyways.

my bro (not as much as I) is a major hygene freak, his main concern is things like aids or hep A,B and C.
I can see where he is coming from and not just cause he is my bro, but I knwo everyone would want their gear to be nice and sterile.

Yeah man, if there is any concerns just heat it to atleast 212 degress (boiling point) and 275 degrees. I would'nt go hotter than that. I would say 225-250 is gtg. Then you are sterile.
Just bring it to that temp and remove from heat.

Depend'n on how much powder you need to cleanse these are excellent units.

.2um filters filter better than .45um, but the .2um is harder to squeeze the oil through imo. You cannot go wrong with a .45 though. I would not even worry about filtering it unless you see floaties or it is really filthy looking. Heating it will be fine otherwise. Originally Posted by Mr.BTB
