    Prami increases GH?

I just read this on another board. Is this true? How long does it take to effect? In order to get the benefits from this, if it is true, would you have to (as with GH supplementation) give this about about 3 months before you would notice any effect of the increased GH?

Neuroendocrine and side effect profile of pramipexole, a new dopamine receptor agonist, in humans.

Schilling JC, Adamus WS, Palluk R.

Human Pharmacology Centre, Boehringer Ingelheim KG, Germany.

The effects and tolerability of pramipexole, a new dopamine D2-receptor agonist, on prolactin, human growth hormone, thyrotropin, cortisol, and corticotropin levels were investigated in a randomized, double-blind, crossover study in 12 healthy volunteers. Single oral doses of 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 mg pramipexole and placebo were studied over a period of 24 hours. Pramipexole decreased serum prolactin levels in a dose-dependent manner, with a maximum effect after 2 to 4 hours. Serum levels of human growth hormone were dose-dependently increased; however, this effect was only significant 2 hours after drug administration. Furthermore, a slight increase in serum cortisol levels and a slight decrease in serum thyrotropin levels was observed. Our findings show for the first time pharmacodynamic effects of pramipexole after single oral doses in healthy volunteers. The compound was well tolerated and showed an endocrine profile similar to other dopamine D2-agonists.

Heavyiron created a nice post on this a while back. You can read it here:

Nice thanks. I see that the increase is only sifnificant for around 2 hours after administration. That being said....is it even reasonable to supplement with Prami for GH purposes?

It's up the user. I thought it was some where around 3-4 iu's HGH for .5-1mg ED Prami. Doing .5-1mg of prami murders my sleep and I'm a zombie the next day. No way I can take the sides. I'm ramping up from .12 and its manageable.

So if you can take the sides. Maybe, but I would like to see a scientific study on exactly how much GH it increases first.

Split up your dose, half AM half PM or even take it 3 times a day. .5-1mg a day is a lot all at once.

for gyno prevention .25mg ED works very well.

I am up to 0.75mg ED. So far just feel tired but it's not that bad.... feel a little spaced out at times. Haven't experienced any horrible side effects like I have heard from other people.
