Is it fine to put gear from sachets into used vials that have been empty for months?
As long as you swab the top prior to filling I don't see how there can be a problem but I want to be sure.

That's a good question bro, thought of that myself. Maybe take off the rubber stopper and dip the vial and rubber probabbly in 90% alcahol for a min or so, air dry and u should be good jus put another needle in the stopper to relieve pressure. What brand sachets are they? Doesn't make a diff jus curious.
I used to do it all the time with zero problems. As long as you used and continue to use sterile handling techniques it will be fine.
over time and from too many pokes the rubber stoppers break down and can get into the solution......sterile viles are relatively cheap....or pre load a sachet or two at a time
Yes you can, but i would cook the gear after it is in the vial, just to be safe. just hold it over a open flame for a few seconds, bringing it to a boil. then you are sterile again.
Good catch on the pressure topic TC. Woulda sucked to blow a btl! Ida been pissed!
