Underground Lab busted in Texas by Anthony Roberts
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s department raided a home in Spring, Texas, at approximately 10 am on Monday morning, and found an electronic pill press, glass ware, electronic scale, heating elements, home-brew recipes and a vacuum pump. They also found unconverted steroids (still in powdered form), as well as various chemicals and liquids (sterile oil, etc…) and containers of growth hormone. The amount of seized steroids was claimed to be $100,000 (which, if we consider the usual law enforcement tactic of inflating their numbers to look good to the media, was probably closer to $40k worth – still a sizable bust).
They were acting on a tip (!) and as of right now, no arrests have been made. The Sherriff’s department has given a photo of the confiscated steroids to the local media (pictured above), which shows a bottle labeled “CST Pharmaceuticals” – but I’ve been unable to find out much about this lab, other than the fact that the bottle says that it’s made in Canada (an old trick to throw off local law enforcement).
