As long as it isn't going to expire any reasonably cool and dry place should be fine. Humidity and extreme heat or cold temps are things to avoid, along with an excessive amount of light.

Put in a place that stays around room temp. Maybe under your bed will do. I've had four amps of sust in my closet in a shoe box for eight years. They expired in 2006 but since they're in amps and stored correctly, I've been told they will still work but may have lost some potency. You should be fine but I'd make sure the gear doesn't have an expiration date prior to when you plan to use it. Remember that if it's a ten week cycle and you start in April, it'll need to be good thru July and not April. Good luck.

That's a good place. I actually keep mine in a locked file case similar to a safe but not as durable. I have to do this b/c I keep it at the office and last thing I want is my co workers or boss to find my pins, gear and everything else I keep in there. I can't keep it at home bc my gf would find it and choke me for using gear lol.

My girlfriend lives with me and she works from home so she's always here. No way I can pin here. My office is an old converted house and my office is upstairs. I have two closets and my own bathroom so it's really discreet. I just get in really early before anyone else does on pinning days and get it done first. Works well for me.
