    Finishing up cycle with?

    My cycle of test e has been going well but it seems things are starting to flatten out some as Week 5 comes to a close. Weight hasn't been increasing as it was before but I'm up about 9-10 lbs. So I'm thinking I may add in an oral to finish up the cycle. I'm thinking maybe super dmz, dbol, anavar or tbol. What do you guys suggest?

    Also, I'm really leaning towards dbol or super dmz. I'd like another 10 lbs. Would that be achievable on the dmz? I'd imagine dbol would put on 10 lbs easy but I'm assuming most will be water and will probably be hard to keep post cycle.

    Man I was thinking about this today also. I don't think dbol to finish would be what you're looking for. And I would say some winny but you're wanting to bulk up.

    Just throwing it out there but why not run some prop at a little higher dose in between last pin and pct?

    It is odd that you says the Test E cycle is going well but is flattening out at week 5 because a lot of users do not actually start feeling the effect of the Test E until week 4-6.


    How much longer are you going to run the test? What does your cycle look like?

    I enjoy using PureStan at the end of my cycles.

    The test has been working since week 2. It kicked in pretty quickly, probably 10 days from first pin. Strength has somewhat flattened out too. I'm thinking this may be bc I increased my adex to 1 mg ed. Maybe I should lower my dose to 0.5 mg ed and see what happens.

    Well there are a few reasons....

    #1 You could be not eating enough....
    #2 You aren't training hard enough (I hope it's not this one)
    #3 The Adex is probably hindering your gains a bit.

    Why did you increase your Adex dose? And what dosage of Test are you running ??

    I don't think that Adex will hinder your gains, it will block estrogen and you won't be getting too much water, which is the wight that you will probably lose after you finish. I would say take Adex 1 mg eod. IMO

    Of course adex will hinder gains. Blocked estrogen = less gains. From reading his journal he increased adex dosage because he has been fighting gyno pretty much all cycle (I believe a flare up from a previous cycle). I would say its a mix of #1 and #3 from what chronic said. Honestly if you want to gain just start eating as much as you possibly can. I have to resort to shakes cause my mouth refuses to eat that much damn chicken in a day. I don't care if they're in nugget form, that much chicken is too much for me

    The gains that might be hindered by Adex is all water anyways. I agree with #1 From what Chronic said.

    I'm taking in 4k+ calories a day. Trust me, I stuff my face all day long. I can't imagine consuming more food. I'm eating five solid meals a day with two protein shakes. I was gaining just fine until I upped my dose of adex then everything just leveled out. I can try to eat more but not really sure where else I can fit it and drink as much water as I need.

    at the end of every hardener or bulking cylce after my last injection of a long ester i will run test prop for about 4-5 weeks just depending on what the funds look like you know, that always gives me an extra 5-10 lbs easy sometime more than that. Prop will be your best bet ED injections at about 100-150mg a day or more if you want, i love prop...it will harden you up and build more lean muscle and you will stay pumped all day long...that is what i recommend everyone that has the problem then after your last shot of Prop wait around a week or so and start your PCT wich shouldn't be a whole lot with just a Test E cycle only, try that man and i promise you will thank me in the future. by the way Test E doesnt really start doing its work untill around week 3-4 and you are complaining already i would run that for how ever long you planned on or up the dose then do the prop after words, there have only been one cycle that i have not included prop at the end at atleast 100-200mg ED for about 4-6 weeks, it really makes a difference for me. Good Luck and think about this and lower your aromas, no need for all that....

    7 am: 4-5 eggs, 2 pieces of wheat toast, 2-3 pieces of veggie bacon

    10:30 am: muscle milk protein shake

    12:30 pm: 6 oz steak with veggies and brown rice

    3:30 pm: cottage cheese with pineapple

    6:00 pm: 12-14 oz steak or chicken. Biggest meal of day. Well over 1k calories

    8:00 pm: muscle milk shake.

    I try to fit in another snack or meal before bed but sometimes my stomach is so full I can barely sleep.

    Work out schedule:

    M: chest 16 sets
    T: back 16 sets/bis 8 sets
    W: legs 16 sets/Tris 8 sets
    Th: rest
    F: shoulders 16-20 sets
    Sa: bis 12 sets/tris 12 sets
    Sun: rest

    cardio: 3-4x a week. Just riding bike or running under 2 miles.

    That is not 4k calories. If your not gaining, drop the cardio a bit. You could benefit more from cardio 3x a week on the treadmill walking for 20 mintues...walking, not jogging.

    There are several adjustments I would make if I had a client with this set up.

    But start with backin off cardio a bit first.

    I'm going to ask you one last time, how much Test are you currently taking?
    How can you expect help when you won't share as much information as you can?

    1mg ED shouldn't be a huge problem unless you are running a low dose of Test. My last cycle was Test Prop @ 700mg ED and 1mg did not put a huge dent in my gains, but keep in mind 700mg of Prop is about the same as 800mg of Enanthate.

    Which is why it is important to know how much Test you are taking.

    If 0.5mg ED is not enough to block out your gyno issues, but 1mg ED is too much for you to gain, you have a few choices....

    #1 Assuming you have Adex tablets or liquid, you can try 0.75mg ED
    #2 If it's capsules, you can lower it back down to 0.5mg and take the risk.
    #3 You can keep it up at 1mg ED and deal with reduced gains.

    What worries me with Adex, is the potential for rebound. So if you lower your dose mid-cycle, I don't know if you might experience a small rebound causing a sudden flare up of your gyno issues, this is not my expertise in this area but maybe something to consider. This is why from now on I am choosing to stick with Aromasin. Suicide inhibitor, permanently deactivates the aromatize enzyme. I am very happy with my first bout with Aromasin

    Arimidex however, only temporarily inhibits the aromatize enzyme, and once Adex is continued, it becomes free again. This worries me about Adex, as I have experienced Adex rebound on a few occasions.

    I would rather have "some" of my gains hindered by adex or any other AI instead of getting a nasty case of gyno or getting a moon face. Finding your personal dose is key, you want to take as little as possible.

    i know this is my first post, i thought i might add something. dude your shbg is way to high. that is the main reason people stop gaining. adex may not be enough for you some people have more of a problem with aromotising than others. i take 1.25 mgs of letro day when im on 2 grams of test a week. the adex dose you are taking is meant for normal tesosterone levels like in the range of 300 to 1000. your putting in 4 times the amount of test in your system.

    Conrad: I've put my diet in fitday many times and I always underestimate my calories when I actually get an accurate count. The four meals I mentioned are minimum 3k calories. Then add the two shakes which I make with whole milk and that's another 800 calories. Then add snacks, coffee and other drinks throughout the day and I'm easily over 4k.

    I agree. Maybe I just need to be patient and see what happens over the next two or three weeks. In the meantime, I'll try to stuff my face more and do a little less cardio. I might try doing .5 mg of the adex to see how that works out.

    Yeah um.... 500mg of Test E requires no more than 0.5mg of Adex per day.
    I am EXTREMELY prone to gyno and I ran that cycle without an AI (not recommended) and had no gyno issues.

    Why did you decide to increase your dosage ? A lot of times guys get paranoid and think their nips are getting sensitive, but it's all in their heads...

    Also, you may want to check out the thread in my signature by heavyiron about running your first test cycle. Something to consider IMO.

    Most definitely agree with this one. I think he increased it a bit high for the amount of gear he is taking though. Especially if he has a low body fat percentage already.

    No offense, but that is the problem with fitday I see a lot of. Those calculators county every bit of incidental macros that, IMO, should not be counted toward the macros; such as carbs in broccoli

    No offense taken. I know you're trying to help. But it did seem weird to me that everytime I estimated my calories in my head and actually put it in fitday, it was always way low. So maybe I should use another source to count calories?

    It's called the back of the package... and a calculator...

    This is how I figure out my calories.

    And any time I have something without the nutrition facts, I go to

    Calorie Counter Database - Free Online Diet Program

    I do a few calculations to figure out the amount in my current serving.

    Can you explain this to me ? Why are carbs in broccoli not counted towards the macros, are you referring to the fibre having any effect on blood glucose levels, thus you are only interested in net carbs? Please clarify.

    Well I started at .5 mg eod and my nipples were always hard, sore and a little itchy so I took nolva and upped the adex to .5 ed but the gyno symptoms kept coming back so I went to 1mg ed. Seems to work but gains seem to be effected. I'll take your advice and drop to 0.5 mg ed and see what happens. Thx for the advice guys. But I agree. I thunk maybe taking in say 500 calories a day may help the cause.

    just to give you heads up man .5 mgs of adex is not enough for 500mgs of test a week if your getting a little bloat and nipple problems trust me iv been in your situation 100s of times, you need to get your estrogen just right for your test to work like its suppose to. a good indicator is pumps, if your getting insane pumps still in the gym and your aggressive than your good. if you start feeling all bloated and shit and not really getting that pump than your estrogen is too high. i know for a fact .5 of adex wouldnt do shit for me on 500 mgs of test, alot of people have more armotise for estrodol than dht. i get like no dht on test cycles it just aromoitises straight to estrogen.

    I have a journal but I haven't posted in it in a few weeks. It's named "My Test Cycle Journal". That may help you. Look a few pages back and you should be able to find it. At this point, I'm going to lower my dose of adex to 0.5 mg ed and I'm going to order some Super DMZ and probably will finish up the last 4 weeks with it. I'm also going to try to sneak in another meal and try to add say 500 calories daily. I haven't decided if this cycle will be 10 or 12 weeks yet. I'll try to keep you posted.

    Ripped, You started out with dbol. That's why you think the test kicked in on week 2. Give it another week or two and I bet you start seeing gains again. Are you going strictly on weight? Cause that will be hard to judge with the dbol out front. You should expect to lose some of that water.
