ok, anyone new to injecting should know there's a little more than stabbing yourself and pushing a liquid in.
1. the top of the vial should be cleaned with alcohol not saliva....
2. the proper amount should be withdrawn into the syringe...
3. the skin should be clean, preferable recently swabbed by alcohol.
4. stick, then DRAW Back...why? to see if blood fills the syringe.
if so: abort. and start over.
You do not want to inject into a vein.
5. If no blood: proceed with treatment.
6. to avoid bruising: press with a moderate pressure once the needle is removed. Why? because a lot of the time viens are pierced....if you don't press hard, the bruising will occur and that will be unsightly.
