I cant say for sure.
Try putting some heat on the area that will help with some of the pain. It should go away within a few days.
If not then see the Doc.
I pinned some test cyp 5 days ago. The muscle in my butt feels a little hard and hurts to rub it, stretch or sit, hurts all around the injection site..don't notice any redness or burning and otherwise feel ok. Could this be an oily abcess??Like i said..been 5 days.
If you don't know where your going it doesn't matter which road you take to get there....

I hate to see these kinds of threads.
Use good judgement man. Infection is nothing to mess with. Hope it turns out well for ya

Its probably got a high BA content. Usually test cyp is mild. When I run tren enth my ass is usually sore from 3-5 days after the shot. It sounds gay but I bought a homeedics back massager and I stick it under my ass cheak and sit on the couch for a while. It kills at first but then it massages the oils out of the muscles and I am pain free the next day.

I would also think that after 5 days if it were infection you would see some discoloration and you would probably run a fever at some point.

I got an abscess some years ago, and it SUCKED! My advice, if it doesn't get better soon see a doc and get some antibiotics. If you wait too long, the antibiotics won't help, and they'll have to cut it out. That's what happened to me, and I was out of commission for a couple months. I never had a fever or discoloration, just a lot of pain around the injection site. Not to scare you, but if it doesn't get better in a few days, go see a doc. They are usually very understanding. Better safe than sorry, bro.

Man I bet you'll be okay. 5 days seems a little long though. I'm normally cool within about 3 days.

Yep, Prop hurts as do aqueous based solutions like Winstrol Dept and Test Suspension. Also contributing to uncomfortabel injections is plunging substance in too fast (plunging should take a good 30 secs) and plunging more than 2ccs in delts/thighs. Plunging in the glute should be a 1-1/2" pin. I use 22 gauge which would cause scar tissue faster than a smaller pin such as a 23 gauge. For this reason I'll be using 23 ga 1-1/2" for glutes and 23 ga 1" for delts in future. Be sure to massage injection site afterwards.
My friend has been using Sustanon and one of the injections led to nearly a week of discomfort. Discomfort went away on its own and he didn't have much discomfort with rest of his injections.

id wait it out. doubt its an abcess. id also assume u used sterile technique for ur inj i.e. clean the top of vial with alcohol as well as vigirously wipeing the injection with alcohol starting in the center and following a circular pattern outward. although a fever isnt always present when an infection is 9 times out of 10 it is. also a general feeling of maliase will be present. perhaps loss of appetite. good call with the abx prophalactically...def wont hurt anything. try the heat and massage as everyone else has stated. i have had inj site pain for a week with test 400 and winstrol. good luck.
The first time I injected in my triceps, my wife actually used a 21 g 1-1/2" needle and both of my triceps got really swollen and red. At first I thought it might be an infection but I realized that the needle caused tissue damage because it went too far. I took antibiotics for 48 hours just in case. It went away after the 4 day completely. I remember that even though she aspirated, on one arm I felt an electric shock going down my arm. After the injection on the second arm I felt really dizzy and I though I would pass out. It was the weirdest thing ever. I will never use anything longer than 1" anymore and gladly this has never happened again.

Might try cutting it with some sterile oil to cut down on the pain if it's the ba content.
