That last layer of stomach fat/flub/chub/skin

    Hello fellow brotheren.

I need to figure out how to hell to get rid of this last layer (I'd say 5-10lbs), of stomach fat. My abdomen and lovehandles are where it accumulates on me, so it's rough going.

I watch what I eat, and try not to cheat more than two or three times a week. I've been on a cut for the past month that has been going well, just not good enough to tighten everything up as good as I'd want.

I TRY to get 15mins on the ellepitcals everyday, do around 800 weighted crunches with a 25lb plate (this has been VERY effective)

Doing that has helped me shed about 5 lbs from the area in a month or so, but I still have 5/10 more to shed.

Just looking for little tips and pointers from the pros. Particularly the bros who look like complete animals in their profile pictures. Hah.

Anyone who used to be chubbers back in the day, or are coming off of a bulk and need to loose some stomach flub, do share your secrets.

Not exactly the right forum for this. But HIIT does wonders for stubborn fat.

Sounds like you've made progress over the past month. Keep doing what you're doing and be patient - see where you are in another month. Maybe you'll shed some more in the next 30 days?

Shoot for atleast 30min of cardio instead of 15.

It's not easy man. Everyone would be huge if it was. It just takes time. I'm in the same boat. I have just that little bit of extra chub going on. I plan to blast it off after my cycle.

Diet and cardio are the key. You said you do 2-3 cheat meals a week? Cut it down to one. I had my bf down really low a couple of years ago (under 8%) and my abs had very little fat on them. The ladies loved it lol. But unfortunately, since I've been bulking, I've put on a lot of fat around my waist. But at that time, I was running 2 miles a day, 4-5 x a week. Before that, I rarely did cardio and once I started running, the fat came off quick. Running is the king of all cardio IMO. Even Bruce Lee said that lol. That last bit of fat is hard to cut but keep at it and you'll get there. Also, some people just have more fat around their waist due to their genetics. You can overcome your genetics but you have to work extra hard at it. If you drink any beer, I would immediately cut that out. No matter how much cardio and how good your diet is, if you consume more than 3 beers a day, you'll have some fat around your waist b/c of the empty calories you're consuming. Good luck. This thread is probably more relevant in the training section.
Fear does not exist in any object or situation. It is constructed by you alone, a barrier to progress, imposed solely by your mind.
