M-Drol... Kidney failure? Help a bro out!

I was reading a thread earlier about kidney failure and it reminded me of this. A few years ago I was in a an accident and had to be hospitalized for a few days. At the time, I was taking M-drol. When I got bloodwork done, the doc told me I had diabetes and kidney failure. They laughed and said I shouldn't take so many steroids and I really didn't know if I should take them seriously or not. Anyways, I was treated for my injuries from the accident in the hospital and nothing ever again was said about my kidney's so I figured it was BS and they were just hammering me bc they detected the M-drol. I did a cycle of test e about a year after and all my bloodwork came back fine. Now, a year after that, I'm currently finishing up a cycle and feel fine too. I will also have bw done a few wks after pct is finished up. What are your guys thoughts on this? Were they screwing with me or is this something I should take into account when considering future cycling? Thanks for your time bros and I appreciate any suggestions!

They knew you were using gear? Did you tell them?
Fear does not exist in any object or situation. It is constructed by you alone, a barrier to progress, imposed solely by your mind.

That's what was weird! They came in and said that it's from all the steroids and stuff before I ever said anything. Then, all I said after that was that I was taking this supplement and I guess that could've done it.

If you have kidney failure they would have treated it @ the hospital. If you have diabetes it will be on your medical records. Call your family Doc if you're really concerned.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. My last BW which was done last spring, the doc said my kidneys were working great. There is nothing on my records about diabetes and I was scheduled for no follow up's about the "kidney failure" the one doc told me I had.

M-drol can really mess with your lipid profile, so I'm not too shocked your blood work was a bit messed up. If the blood work is fine now, I wouldn't worry about it, but if it bothers you go to your doc and get new bloodwork done to check kidney function and for diabetes.

M-drol will significantly stress lipids and your liver. Never use it without cycle support and tons of hydration. Most orals cause these types of stresses.

yeah, I just ran 4 wks 30mg/day of dbol in this previous cycle and felt great. Urine was always clear and no bad signs. Guess that the M-drol was just so harsh that it messed with my lipids during the time i used it. BW after that has looked just fine tho

30 is about the max dose and 4 weeks is as long as you want to use it, IMHO. I've run the same, along with Test, and I'm sure my lipids were screwed up, too. If you take blood work a couple of months after PCT, everything should hopefully be back to normal, or close to it. M-drol is a powerful oral.

No doubt about that! But I personally will never use the stuff again. Freaked me out too much there lol. I try to mainly stick to only oils now and avoid the oral stuff as much as I can. BW should be good after pct and I'll update everyone on how it goes. I guess now my worries should turn to getting my balls back on pct

Kidney failure is VERY serious and requires dialysis. They would not have let you out of the hospital until it was resolved. You would have died, and they would have been sued. I'd say they were just being a**holes.

    Pretty much this.

Are you just fucking huge and ripped like a MOFO? Are you one of those big ass mother fuckers people just look at and say 'Man hes definitely juicing"! if not I dont see how they would know. More than likely they would not have tested for steroids and they have to test for steroids to find it. They just dont pull some blood and do an all inclusive test. Plus steroid testing is expensive and most dont do it unless they have to.

i still dont get how they detected mdrol...they specifically said mdrol? lol

Op, i think ur full of shit.

Either that or someone you know asked the doc to scare your straight. For instance your mom found your mdrol bottle and googled it. She then realized it was a steroid and told the doc. She didnt want to confront you personally because you have had bouts of unstabe behavior in the past.....and she feared the steroids were going to just compound your hissy fits.

You can always ask for your own copy of your bloodwork, then you'll know. The main markers for kidney function are your bun, creatinine, and gfr levels. If those are in the reference range then your g2g.

Lol why would I make this up man? I'm being for real and wouldn't waste my time or yours with making a thread. I was concerned and thought I'd bring it by everyone on the board bc they are always a great help. And the doc didn't say specifically mdrol. He said 'steroids' and I'm guessing he said that because my lipids were all effed up. My BW was awful and I also think the doc was trying to scare the hell out of me but not bc my mom found it lol

Yep, I've had BW done since then and everyone checked out great. Doc said I had some of the best cholesteral he's seen and my kidney's were working just fine. I, myself, am still trying to figure out the exact reason why they told me this. BW was bad and he wanted to scare me I suppose...
