great guidelines!
SO MANY threads lately with a lot of information that has been repeated MANY MANY times. Hopefully this can help some members who actually take the time to read, listen and ask questions.
1. If you're over 10% BF a cycle is not in your best interest. Bulking at a higher BF is just going to lead you to getting fatter. If you eat more than you burn off you're going to get fat period. Don't believe me? Try it and see what happens.
2. IF you ask questions about your cycle prepare for honest critiquing. Members who post in your thread are looking out for your best interest (most of the time). They know what works and what doesn't for the most part.
3. STOP TRYING TO REINVENT THE WHEEL. Too many guys are stacking 5-6 different compounds together thinking that they're going to bulk for 8 weeks and then cut for 8 weeks in the same 16 week cycle. Pick one, and keep at it. Your body isn't going to respond the way you want while you're stuffing your pie hole one day and starving the next, it doesn't work that way.
4. WITHOUT THE PROPER DIET YOUR CYCLE IS WORTHLESS. Too many people think that throwing some gear at a problem is the solution they need. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it doesn't work that way. It takes guys a long time to figure this part out (me included). Without diet everything else is just a waste.
5. You're not going to get huge in one cycle. Patience, consistency, and dedication are the keys to long term success. Ever see the avatar picture of Heavy Iron? Dude is jacked and that didn't happen in a few years. Most likely he's been busting his ass for 10+ years.
6. REST. Guys going to the gym 5-7 days a week is a sure fire way to burn out your CNS, and make you hate the gym. Sleep and time away from the gym are keys to success. Take an extended break every so often, you're not going to shrink or lose all of your gains, be smart and work smarter.
7. Focus on deadlifts, squats and bench press. These 3 exercises should be a staple for everyone. Your body will thank you later on. No need for Billy Biceps either.
8. EAT SOLID FOODS. Shakes are for PWO. Your body needs vitamins and minerals, GO AND GET THEM.
9. Trying to lose weight? STOP THINKING clen, T3 and ECA are going to work wonders. Again, diet and cardio will work wonders, once you hit a plateau, THEN consider something else.
10. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.....Do your homework. Nothing is as frustrating then answering the same stupid questions over and over. There is no question that is stupid, but when the same one is asked over and over it becomes a lost cause for us to try and help.
11. Have a serious problem or advanced question? PM a MOD. We're here to help.
12. ALWAYS, I MEAN ALWAYS use an A/I DURING your cycle. Just because you don't get gyno doesn't mean other problems aren't happening.
13. ALWAYS have everything you need and then some BEFORE you start a cycle. You might need extra clomid or aromasin, so be sure to have it ready so there are no problems.
14. READ THE STICKYS FIRST - THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON!

Nice post. Seems we've been getting a lot more newb questions since the first of the year. I guess some peoples resolutions are to juice and get in shape. Unfortunately it's not that easy nor is that a good plan.

10 through 14 are my favorites. Although this is my first post here, I am very familiar with allot of these boards. People need to learn the "search" feature. Too many times are the same questions asked over and over. Sometimes on the same day.

Thanks for putting it up there. I know myself and others here have helped dozens of newbies with questions and we see many of the same questions asked later on. It's no wonder why some new guys get flamed because as was mentioned most if not all this information is available with a search. We still need to do what we can though to help peoples questions. I look at it like this. Keep helping and keep posting with tips and advice when asked and we can help to educate which only helps the sport.

So true. Everyone wants to go from 170, 16%BF to 225 @ 8% in a 12 week cycle of Test/Tren/Deca/DBol/Mast and finish with Winny for their Bul/Cut cycle... Train 8 days a week (2X/day on M & Th) while eating 2200 calories or 4500 calories of sh!t.
Just read... It's pretty much ALL hear. I can find topics on just about every compound, stack, GH, slin and just about anything to add on or take off.

also if you're trying the get the most out of your cycle when you run out of gear put water in the bottle and shake it up to get that last bit out

I agree with most of that.

So I have never understood the BF% restriction on steroids? Will there be much diff between an individual running a cycle with 12% or 16% bf? I don't understand the science. Anyone care to explain to my ignorant self?
If you intend to bulk and you're at 15% BF guess what's going to happen when you're eating a calorie surplus? You get fat.
Then when you want to cut it's going to take 2-3 times longer (thus you losing MORE LBM than you would have originally) than if you were to first drop the weight on your own to begin with.
99.9% of the time a first time AAS user just doesn't care and want to get their hands on some gear and just go balls out, instead of making a plan, following it, and making any adjustments needed along the way. At the end of the cycle and going through PCT they loose almost everything they gained, wasting time, effort and gear.


i've also heard on the site before but it's been so long not sure what thread it was under that a higher bf % can cause a higher amt of test to convert to estrogen. dont know if it's true, and unfortunately can't remember the science behind it but I've always used it as one of my reasons to drop it til i can get smaller
