I have read stuff about doing certain routines while on cycle, right now my split looks like this,
monday-chest and abbs
tuesday-back and trapps
wed.-off
thurs.-bi's and tri's
fri.-legs and shoulders
sat.-off
sun.-off
The stuff I read was pertaining to rest days, I'm wanting to do a routine that includes 5 working days instead of 4, something like this:
mon.-chest and abbs
tues.- back and calves
wed.- shoulders and trapps
thurs.-legs
fri.- bi's and tri's
Do you guys think its too many working days in a row for a good recovery? I'm currrently waiting on my gears to get here for my first cycle, my stats are: 6', 245-248, and around 13% bf, at 31 years old! My current routine has alot of volume so the 1 extra day would help spread that volume out, but I'm afraid I won't recover well without wed. off! Your opinion's are welcome.
looks ok to me. I'm doing something similar right now but I have legs and shoulders switched around because my shoulders are sore on wednesday. I'd try to hit abs and calves twice a week if possible. I'm recovering perfectly fine going 5 on 2 off. I'm gonna switch to 6 on 1 off halfway through my cycle.
