Any cycle, if done correctly with proper PCT, training and diet will allow you to keep a majority of your size and strength.

I think we would all love to say use x, y and z and the PCT with a, b and c and keep 98.6% of your gains but the reality is there are thousands of variables and pretty much invariably if off for a while a lot of those gains go away. If you recover after a year or so you might get some of them back but you do have to understand how to gain naturally and eat, train and rest properly. Some studies show that after AAS use the muscle does have higher numbers of nuclei meaning there are more cells fused into the muscle fibers so it is always more than before cycle. In principle you should be able to reclaim or keep some size. One of the problems is it takes time to recover and if on for a long long time like years, recovery may not happen. So there are some permanent changes that are positive and sometimes permanent changes that are negative.

I should add that I went off for nearly 10 years. My upper body never got as good or as strong as when I had been on but my legs actually got stronger in that time. I never looked as good as when I was on though. I definitely kept some gains though but by the last year or so off I turned hypogonadal. So in the end I had to get my androgens from the needle again. Enter this game at your own risk. Wa my problem caused by steroid use or from something else? I can't say for sure but probably it was from AAS use.
