Does cycling affect your cardio? Permanently?

I do about 1 or 2 cycle each year and follow the proper pct protocol upon finishing them. I finished a cycle close to 2 months ago and my cardio still doesn't feel great. I'm involved with a sport that calls for some cardio so it got me thinking. How is it for you other bros? I know your cardio probably sucks while on but how about after? Does it return to normal? Just curious

It's true, not to mention the extra muscle weight that you carry around. More weight = strained heart.

My buddy that introduced me to gear. Stopped for a couple years and competed in triathalons. When he started gaining again it took about a year. Not as big as beforehand, but did it right and looks good. As long as you don't go ape-shit and Fuck up your organs, your body should be able to adjust to the demands your putting on it.

Thanks for sharing man. I've ran and plan on running some more triathlons in the future and it's a little scary to think you could kill your cardio for good and not be able to compete anymore. As u said, it seems that only constant abuse of the gear would probably do this

It won't kill your card permanantly, but if u don't get used to the added weight and don't do card during obviously it will decrease

Does not affect cardio at least for me.
While on or off, i regularly engage in cardio activity that has my heart rate pegged at between 80-90% of my max for 10 minute periods over a 90 minute stretch. Have not noticed a difference in performance when on or off. Hope this helps.

in extreme cases i would say gear use does affect cardio, buy ONLY in extreme cases, look at the polish worlds strongest man winner /mma fighter "marious pudzianowski" he is no doubtedly stronger than any of his mma competetors and he is highly skilled yet every time is gets gassed out easily after throwing a few jabs,i expect his average sized heart doesnt enjoy powering his ridiculous amount of mussle mass for 5 x 5 minuite rounds.

sorry if many dont aggree with me

lol I can agree with you there man. That dude is pretty big and also the fact that his fortay was the strongman before any sport that requires cardio brings up a red flag! Tim Sylvia beat the crap out of him and Sylvia has actually tested positive for winny back in the day... my point is that he probably still uses it but his shape seems fine... even tho he sucks! haha
