    Getting sick from AAS?

I'm apologize first if there is a lack of pertanent information for my question, if I'm missing something let me know and I'll get with him and see what else happened.

A friend of mine, YES a friend of mine not myself (I've got no qualms about admitting I've run gear before. I don't currently) has just started a new cycle. As a favor I thought I'ld ask, the last couple times he started running cycles he's got sick.

He's run cycles for a couple years and with out doing a lot of things right so I've been trying to help him as best as I can, anyways last time he was running test and deca at roughly 500 mg a week of test and 250 i believe of deca. A week into it he got some cold/flu like symptoms.
    Weak
    Runny Nose
    Sore throat
    Cold chills

This last time said he was running 500 mg of test cyp for almost a month. He introduced tren a this past thursday and up'd his test dosage by an extra 125 mg. He was going to do tren 100 mg EOD but by thursday he was "dead to the world" sick.

    What might be going on?

As a side note he just got staph infection, but he didn't have it last time when he started his previous cycle. not sure if that has anything to do with it

He should go to the Doc and get tested for the flu. i know it's going around here. It's probably just a coincidence.

yeah maybe. It's not like he's running unusually high amounts and he's run several cycles in the past so I couldn't figure it out. i just told him to cut back the dosage and take a butt load of Vitamin C til he gets better

Very likely test flu. Which could be caused by a quick increase of hormones or dirty gear or improper injection technique. Usually short esters are more common to test flu. Was he running Test Prop. or sust. ? Having staph infection could also increase chance of catching a cold or flu because your body is in a weakened state. My friend had staph infection in his blood and had to take oregano oil to help with immune support. What type of staph does he have?

not sure. just said he went to dx for staph infection. had a nasty cyst/boil on his arm filled w/ puss and blood.

it's just weird that if it was "test flu" which I had never heard of until this and looked up a little more on that he would get it, b/c he's ran gear for a good couple of years before.

Sounds like hes got some immune issues.
Perhaps he needs to get some bloodwork done and see why.

Test flu could possibly be the culprit, however, longer esters dont usually cause this for most.
I get it slightly from prop and heavily from suspension at the beginning of cycles.
You dont really get a runny nose from it, or sore throat.
    SO something else it happening.
    Coincidence?
    Perhaps.
But maybe not...he should go get some bloodwork.

This is what happened to my friend. By the time he went to the hospital they said that the infection was in his blood and he was going to have to deal with it for the rest of his life. He gets sick very easily now because he has a weakened immune system from the staph. He actually told me when he first was diagnosed that they said one day this infection could end up killing him. He flew off the deep end got really bad into heroine and OxyContin and we lost contact. He never went to deep into what all was wrong with him so I can't tell you much more about his situation. He tried to block it out with drugs. I hope this isn't the same type of infection your friend has. If it is this is probably why he is getting sick so often.

Staph infection can be very serious. Find out if he has a cellulitus infection or if it is in the blood. Some of the strains can be resistant to antibiotics. Also it is contagious as well.

I have never been sick when running aas. In fact I never feel better than I do with test in me. Does test boost the immune system?

It is only really serious if it is in the blood. Sometimes it can resistant to antibiotics. Keep us posted. Hope it is just a minor infection.
