Tanning bed does wonders if you have naturally oily skin. IMO

It wasnt enough for me. Tanning helps with my scaring, but not with the acne. The alcohol & B. Perox. actually goes deep through the skin to fight the infection.

i have been having unusual problems with acne myself for some reason.

What type of soap do you shower with ?

I stick to the old fashoined regular dial soap. The yellow one. Orginal scent or whatever.

I don't have acne on my back or shoulders. Just a little on my face. By my hairline on my temples, forehead and corners of the mouth. It's not horrible but I need to do something for it.

I'm an oily mess by the end of the day. My chest and forehead glisten in the sun. Animal, do you think your method would be too hard for a facial application? Maybe dry it out too much?

I hate the clearasil pads as they almost seem to break me out more. I'm thinking about trying the face scrub and use it in the morning and afternoon but I'll wait and see what yall use.

It's not near as bad as what you guys are describing so maybe I'm just a lucky duck. There's this dude at my gym that I really wish would follow the no tank top protocol. He's nasty.

Sloppyj, I wouldn't use the wipes on my face, it might be a bit harsh. However, the benzoyl peroxide, in this case could be applied to the areas where there is a breakout, but I would apply liberally. That might actually be a good cure for you.

You guys wanna know what soap I use on my entire body? Dish soap. It's gentle on my skin, especially my face, and it completely destroys the greasy oils! I prob should have put that in the beginning of my topic, oh well.

I use a very similar protocol. If you wanna take it a step further, get the acne body wash (orange liquid, 2% salicylic acid) and use it in the shower on your face, shoulders and back. Then when you get out, use your wipe of choice (I use Oxy pads), then use the benzoyl peroxide cream.

I also got some dish soap in my shower. Haven't used it in awhile. Will use when necessary. My girlfriend was like WTF do you have dish soap in your shower? I told her its so she can wash dishes naked. She didn't like that too much. She asked again and I just told her to shut it and get undressed. She didn't like that too much either.

Does keeping the oily injection site farther away from neck/shoulders (ie, leg) help keep the oil and / or acne down? I often ponder this.

Nope, my acne was terrible and I was injecting the glutes! The oils run their course throughout the entire body.

Here's How:
I shower every AM, dry off and wipe down the affected areas with the WIPES. I use one for each side of my body.

I come home from work and I wipe down once again before I put my gym clothes on.

After The gym, I come home, wipe down immediately before I slam my shake and eat dinner.

After my PM shower I dry off again, wipe the are down once more and then I apply the Benzoyl peroxide cream to the entire infected area. Don't just blot, massage the cream in the whole entire infected area.

Sleep and do all over the next day!


I have been doing this religously for just over 2 weeks and it has become my miracle drug! Everything has cleared up as far as the cystic ance in concerned (still have some scaring ). I really recommend this for you guys, especially if you are just starting to see signs of acne!

**Note** this is for those who are on cycle and experience very oily skin**

Use this in the shower too. Just let it sit on the skin and soak in, maybe a couple minutes.

Nice. I've been using the BodyBuilders Wash, and than a prescribed topical called Fougera Sulfacetamide Sodium Topical Suspension USP 10% that has really started to clear mine up after a couple weeks. Of course your's in the cheaper route.
