Question How long does soreness last?

Just wanting to make sure this is normal. 1 ml injected Monday morning into the glute. Injection was completely painless and easy to do. Soreness set in a little that evening, and quite a bit the next day, and a lot by Wednesday, with a little swelling of the glute (not right at the injection site, but like off to the side). This morning (Thursday, third day), it is subsiding some, no swelling, just sore. It is like localized muscle soreness, hurts when you push on it like sore muscles the day following a first hard workout after a layoff.

    Completely normal?

The oil has just spread out over the length of the muscle you hit. All Normal. 3 days tops usually.

Thanks, since today is day three, and it has dropped off several notches on the soreness chart, I am guessing everything is ok. Yesterday had me worried something was wrong, though.

I apologize for the stupid noob question, but what do you expect from a stupid noob?

Today is pin #2, other glute, I guess, but it will be difficult to do left handed.

Yeah it sucks lefty. I just do it in front of the mirror so I dont have to try to contort my body to see. Its easier to keep the glute relaxed for the injection if your not spun around also. Reduces soreness if you ask me.

Try injecting your left shoulder I never do a left handed glute shot too hard . Also quads are easy but can hurt pretty bad .

Get this. I was 187 at start. Today, I stepped on the scale, 192. I know, I know, water weight, placebo, all in my head, and whatever, but I have not been 192 since 2009, and I had more inches around my waist back then. Button down shirt is super tight in the shoulders when I put it on after working shoulders - tight in a way I have not experienced previously. Something is happening.

    Weird.

Day 3? Well, 4. Pinned Monday morning. 600mg sustanon weekly (300 twice weekly), 30 mg dianabol daily, too.

x2 on the delt, don't want to cut it up shaking around on your off hand ass cheek.

Your hurt will stick around for over a week if you do.

Always save yourself one unhurt cheek to sit on!

LOL! Left handed was no biggie. This shot was far easier than the right handed one I did first. It must because because I was over the nervousness about doing it. I did get in a hurry and forget to aspirate, though. Hopefully, I will not die.

Man the first shot in any muscle will be the worst. After a few, there is little to no pain the next day. And then you start to enjoy the pain. Atleast I do.

This is more like 6 days. The peak of really hurting and swelling is day two, tapering off some after that.

My glute on the left side is red and shaped like a black girl's butt (day three).

Right side swelling is gone and pain is gone (day 6).

Third pin tomorrow . . . not dreading the injection, but the soreness days later. It hurts even to sit down or get in and out of bed.

Just so we are clear, it is not the injections that I am discussing. Injecting is easy, and no pain at all until at least 12 hours later, and even then mild, getting worse and worse until day two, at which point it is hard to even get in and out of a chair, and tapering off until gone at day 6.

Sust, if it makes any difference.

if you're allergic to EO or your gear has high BA content, generally 3-4 days max for any pain to subside......

Yeah pinning the glute is a hard task, but once you get good at it, its the least amount of pain and less chances of hitting a nerve.

At three days (today) the second glute is still very painful, red, warm, and swollen. So was the other glute at day three, but today, (six days from that injection), the swelling on the first side is gone and I have to push really hard to feel any soreness at all.

You say "generally 3-4 days max for any pain to subside," but:

    (a) my pain is not even really starting until day two following pinning. There is some mild soreness the day after the shot, but the second day after it is off the charts, and

    (b) redness and swelling - you did not mention this. Normal?

I fell like I am going to need to pin half in each glute for each shot so my butt will be equally swollen, not swelling alternating on each side. It is noticeable even with pants on.

A.M. tomorrow I am considering pinning elsewhere than glutes, just so I do not have to sit on . . .

the last time i checked my old nursing book....redness, pain, warm, and swollen meant infection.... i dont think that is normal.
if you pin somewhere else like delts then that will get the same thing. Maybe.
Atleast in the glutes you can kinda cover it up.

yes.....the gear is fine....sounds like you're allergic to either the EO or are hypersensitive to BA unfortunately....the best you'll be able to do is cut is with grapeseed oil and ride it out until your next round...no need to waste the gear, just understand what's going on and try something else next time......
