Strength loss first week of cycle

I started a cycle of 400 mg deca and 750 sust a week. This is now the end of the first week, thought i was imagining it, but ive actually got weaker and my cardio has got alot worse. Im eating plenty of protein and good quality carbs ect. Any idea whats going on. I seem to be ok when i look in the mirror, so i havent actually lost any size. Whats your thoughts? Any one with similar experiences?

I always drop body weight and have shitty workouts my first week of the cycle. By day 21 you will be having great workouts.

I benched 275 for 5 reps before starting my first cycle, up from 7 reps with 250 less than a month earlier. The day after starting my cycle, I loaded 275 on the bar after my warm up and struggled to get 3 reps, and I knew a fourth would never get off my chest. My bodyweight also dropped.

Fast forward a couple days. By day 4 I was up 5 pounds of bodyweight (haven't benched yet again), and by day 5 I was up 6 pounds.

We'll see how the benching strength goes tomorrow, but I do not hold out any major hopes of it shooting up so soon. The other lifts this first few days are about on par with where they seemed to be headed natty (some down, most up, some the same).

On day two, when the bench strength decreased, I almost posted a thread just like yours, but I decided to give it some time to see what happens after reading more about how long the dbol kicker will take to "kick." Seems to be kicking a little now, judging by the bodyweight.

In hindsight, my weight and strength loss were probably attributable to running for cardio two days in a row. I had not been doing cardio at all for the previous month. I have a hard time putting on weight and strength if I also run.

Now, on cycle, I need to think about whether to add in cardio . . .

275 for 5 reps today on bench, which just means I have not lost or gained strength on that. Everything else is up a little, but nothing that would be unexpected naturally. I feel all "puffy" with the abs disappearing a little, even though I do not seem to have added any fat at all - if anything it feels tighter in the abs, less flabby, is the only way I can describe it.

My muscles also pump up very easily, swelling even while doing the warm ups.

    And large veins are appearing.

We'll see how it goes. It has not even been a week yet.

Just curious, since you are injecting sust, do you get any swelling and redness a couple days after pinning?

You might be experiencing some struggle with your immune system. You just started throwing 5 different compounds into your system so of course it's trying to fight. This will eventually fade and you'll be jumping through hoops in a couple weeks.

Animalhouse, thanks. That helps ease my mind some. You have experienced this or know somebody else who has?

I never had any problems with injecting. Always a little sore but thats normal i think. Just make sure the needle goes in all the way, or you might be injecting into the fat.
Finaly im feeling more energy in the gym, and a little stronger, day 10.
