I use a 23g needle for everything. So pushing on the plunger hard takes about 5 secs for the gear to inject

All good bro...we are simply having a spirited debate about medicinal science. No reason for me to get pissed off bro. I'm just posting the current science that is out there.

I know many docs and nurses, some have been taught to aspirate, some have not. Those who were instructed to aspirate, were taught by older professors. My cousin who is a RN was never taught to aspirate. Cheers bro.

No aspiration for me anymore. The way I figure it, you could pull the needle out away from the body slightly (vein thickness) and aspirate and get nothing and then press down on the syringe and move the tip of the needle a (vein thickness) and bam you're in a vein that you were trying to avoid.....so....

This is a very bad idea. Pushing hard on the plunger is going to be like a pressure washer on the muscle and cause trauma to injection site.
By the way don't send me anymore PM scams

Slowly for sure the puncturing of that layer of skin is the only bit you need to get past really i can't imagine injecting slowly cuz my muscles would probably feel extremely uncomfortable and stiff and the tension/suspense i would feel thinking 'okay so far i didn't hit any nerve or vein' would just make it worse imo...

I thought the same thing until I did it and had it go in completely painlessly. It all depends on where you have it in the muscle. If you get lucky you won't feel a thing.

I only do long esters and pin in the glutes . I used to aspirate but now I do not . I think it caused me more pain when doing it than not . I use a 23g 1.5 . Break the skin fast .. push in ... slow steady inject for me . On one of my last injects of my last cycle I had Test E and EQ in the syringe .. probably 20 seconds later I had an uncontrollble cough and a bad taste , I think I nicked a vein . If it wasn't for boards like this I might have panicked and dailed 911 .. LOL..I just stayed calm and tried to understand what might have happened. Everything was O.K ..
