If you can provide me with a link to the source where the theory comes from, I can whip up some wit for ya.![]()
i read that 'When you first wake up in the AM your body is still processing protein to heal muscles, and your metabolism is at its highest. Once you take food in, you stop all those important processes because blood rushes to your stomach for digestion. The longer u can hold breakfast off the better.'
and i got ripped apart when offering this advice
someone commented that ANY olympian goes to the gym huck full of breakfast lol.
please someone give me something to say back to these nay sayers
i told them although what i read i still use a shake prior to an am workout and then eat my breakfast immediately afterwards.
please leave your feeedback.... links will help.
i wanna stick it to em lol

Interesting theory. I have never heard or read that before... I suppose there is some logic to it. If I were to ever try it, I would still probably use a couple scoops of True Protein's BCAA Plus.... I absolutely love that shit and will NEVER come off it!

Very interesting concept. I believe it is true that your metabolism is at it's highest in the A.M. . I have hypoglycemia pretty much every morning no matter what I eat my body just sucks it up and my blood sugar drops below 70 and I feel shitty and have to eat again. I hate it because it makes it hard for me to get anything done in the morning and makes work difficult. On the other hand I think it helps me add mass because it is like my body over produces insulin because it is craving nutrients after fasting all night. If I eat protein it drops if I eat oats or carbs it drops if I eat fats bacon or peanut butter it drops. It makes no sense but it happens to me everyday unless I skip breakfast and wait a couple of hours which I rarely do because I want the nutrients. Once I eat one time my Blood glucose will drop and I will feel shaky and hungry then I will eat a simple carb like peanut butter crackers like 3 or 4 of them and I will be ok for a little while as the day goes on it doesn't bother me. This is why I believe what you are saying about the metabolism being it's highest in the A.M. is true. Sorry for the long ass story of my life lol.
This is a facebook beef. So I was going to copy paste more info on the thread giving credit to my 'bros'. But they are some hard headed cats and I need links to articles to shut their faces up. I couldn't find links but I didn't have much time.
