Thread: Rough injection last night

I was using my right glute, so I flexed it before pinning like I always do so I can see the right muscle pop on the upper outer quadrant. I relaxed and then went for the pin rather nonchalantly I guess. It was a little tougher to break skin than normal, but once I got in there were no problems. I proceeded to slowly inject and then when I went to remove the pin there was a noticeable pain again as the needle was almost out. Almost like it was pulling the skin away from the muscle. Then it starts leaking blood. I've had maybe a tiny spec appear before but never like this. It was just pouring so I had to just press it with my finger until I could get a tissue. It stopped bleeding pretty quickly after a minute or so of pressure, but it was def fucked up.

What might have happened? And did any oil come out with the blood?

It happens bro. I've had blood spray all over my bathroom mirror before after an inject. I wouldn't stress over it.

happened to me once on a delt inj. i pulled the needle out and blood POURED down my arm. it freaked me out. has never happened again. idk...

That sort of thing is usually caused by passing through a vain at some point during insertion...

I'm not sure about the pain though...

Sometimes you go throw a phase of them.

You will have a rough injection when you stab throw a nerve.

22g one time I thaught hit something serious there was so much blood(love aas)

Did you aspirate? I am just wondering if you did if you saw blood. It sounds like what roughneck said you passed through a vein at some point or if you hit glutes all the time you could have the muscle irritated from frequent injections. This happened to me when I was hitting my glute too much it started to bleed everytime I would hit it so I started to rotate and haven't had any trouble since. It is common though to hit a vein everynow and then. Sounds like you are ok.

That happened to me recently, I just cant inject my delt myself anymore, My chest is too big. I had not injected myself in a while, but my wife was sleeping so I decided to try and I think I kept pulling the needle towards me when it was inside. Most likely I cut some small vessels on my way out. Blood poured down my arm and I was pissed.

yeah I always aspirate it's just become part of the routine of pinning. Should have mentioned that. I figured I just went threw a vein close to the surface because that's where the little pain happened in and out. Glad to hear this is semi-normal. Maybe I should start working quads in. I doubt I have much scar tissue buildup as this is my first cycle, but my skin seems to have gotten slightly tougher to puncture since my first pin. Probably in my head though.

I really like the thigh and delts. I avoid the ass as its too tough to drive my truck and hop in and out of bed and couch without wife looking at me funny. Can only use 'worked the legs and their sore' so many times. It shakes too much in the glute for me cutting up the insides.

Font sweet it bro you will be fine. Probably touched a vain on the way in. I've had gushers before and been fine. The skin pulling makes me wonder if you used the same pin to draw and inject? That's a big no no. When you pierce the vial stopper it can dull and bend the point a bit so the needle would be like a barb that will pull the skin and cause unnecessary pain and bleeding. Pins are cheap switch them save the pain I'm the ass lol

you'll be fine bro... like someone else said, there's a chance you nicked a vain. it may also depend on the gauge needle. when i use 22g i often feel as though the skin is pulling back as im drawing out the needle. also if u dont pull the pin directly out there is a chance u nicked ur skin a little on the way out. its all part of the game brother. and yea u probably lost a drop of oil, but i def wouldnt sweat it, it wont effect ur dosage or blood levels at all.

it's happend to me 3/4 times and i wouldn't worry. as long as you aspirate you are good.

I've never aspirated (neither glute nor delt) and if I've ever had blood appear it's just been the speck or so. Only once in a thousand injecgts did I get a drop that trickled down (deltoid).

I would never tell anyone NOT to aspirate but I never have and I've never injected into a vein. Lucky? Maybe.
