    Laying down or standing?

This is for the guys who have someone do the shots for them. Do you prefer to be laying down or standing up when you get a glute shot? Why?

Usually standing but it is my wife who gives the shot and she prefers it that way. Makes no difference to me really.

When my girlfriend does my glutes I like to lay down this way the muscle is relaxed completely. It is also easy to relax in general lol I just lay there while she does the work.

I have a hard time doing it myself because my shoulder are not very flexible. Quads are the easiest to do for my on my own.

I've always had my girl do them standing up, thinking of trying to lay down. Do you have her just pin or grab some of the skin then release after pins in?

How would you even pin glutes sitting down? Maybe he meant do quads sitting down?

When i pin myself its def quads first then delt. Glutes are hard to get and after i hit my siatic nerve that was enough for me.

When i have someone pin the glutes i like to lay down so im relaxed

I usually pull the skin tight and she inserts the pin. Then injects and pulls out the needle then I release the skin. This called the Z track method. It prevents blood and oil from spilling out of the injection site. I could let my girl do it but I like her to just concentrate on the injection and not moving around in the muscle.

Interesting. I've never had oil come out and only maybe 2 times some blood spill out, luck?

This is the same question I asked my wife tonight!

As far as the shot goes - I say standing.

Always standing for me. Wife helps with glutes and delts. Since standing has always worked, as Elton John says, "I'm still standing." Will always stand I suppose.
