    Alcohol & AAS

I know you should not drink when taking AAS that are known to be harmful to the liver, but what about AAS that are not harmful to the liver. Is it ok to drink some while on like Test & Deca. cleaner AAS? I just wanted to know if there could be other factors to watch out for like the Kidneys or other organs. I am not a heavy drinker but do like to go out once or twice a week and have 3 to 6 beers.

    Alcohol and Protein Synthesis

Alcohol will reduce Protein Synthesis by 20% or more, not to mention the obvious affects on your diet - and if you have a little too much, the hangovers may interfere with your workout intensity. Other than that, have a scotch for me, since I haven't had a drink since New Year's.

A doctor once told me if I use the shake weight I wouldn't even have to go to the gym.

The Shake Weight - As Seen On TV. If done right it will make your forearms and shoulders burn real nice but I'd rather go to the gym.

I don't see a problem having 3/4 beers a week. I would go with light beer instead of dark to keep the calories low

Bro you'll be fine with an occasional drink.

Everyone on an message board preaches some idealized lifestyle yet doesn't live it themselves.

Sure, if you were competing it'd be a different story, but that's probably not the case. There's a lot of pros out there that are big time partiers.

I would avoid alcohol like GMO and Diesel618 said. If you are serious about your trainng it will get you no where but further away from your goals. Drinking beer will lower glycogen and drinking mixed drinks can cause an insulin spike causing your body to store fat and increase strain on the pancreas to keep blood glucose in normal range. Alcohol is a drug that is hard on the body. I know because I have had 3 uncles and 1 aunt die from alcohol. I no longer drink. If I need to relax I would rather smoke a blunt at home with some friends. Happy, hungry, sleepy good things when it comes to building muscle IMO.

this. especially the last part but im nearly a month off the herb and like how im feeling. not even missing it anymore.

i wonder what the liver toxicity of taking 40mg of dbol or any oral for that matter, would be equivolent to in a # of beers per day.

I haven't smoked in a couple months myself but I plan on it here soon. I can just feel it lol . Only way to know about orals and how alcohol affect liver enzymes is to have blood work done.

i'm not training to a pro, and i'm willing to bet that i go undrafted yet again this year by the NFL. and when i smoke weed, i feel dumb and lethargic and just wanna lay around and be scared and unsocial. which is why i havn't cared to smoke since high school. a few beers on a saturday night aint gunna kill ya. and i bet it wouldn't even be noticed at all in your physique unless you drank so much that your a dehydrated bloaty mess the next day. in which case, drink water.

I had a dream last night that I ordered a whiskey sour at some bar and it was $9.50. I didn't think twice about it in my dream, and I've never drank a whiskey sour in my life. What the F. This thread just made me remember that.

Thanks everyone for all the good info. I do not smoke because it really does not seem to agree with me. So after all is said and done I may try a smoke down the road mybe it will be different since I am on. But with regard to drinking I am going to keep it to a bare minimum as much as I can. Fuck its only 3 solid months then maybe I will drink just a little more to stay social and whatnot.

Perhaps there is a larger issue underneath if it is such a large loss to not drink for a few months, or to think you need to drink more when you're done, or that it has any positive effect on being social.

    Juice or drink...

(sorry man I tried to pm you first but I don't have enough posts!)

I came across you on one of the threads regarding placin an order with napsgear, I'm from Galway myself and was just wondering if you did place the order and was it successful?

Do you know of any legit sites to order from?

    I'm relatively new at this

Any heads up you could give me would be great!

    Thanks,

    Dave
