    Bicep/calf symmetry

I think I have a complex with the size my calves appear to be. My biceps are 18 inches and I am pretty happy with them. My calfs are the same size by the tape but I am just not happy with how big they appear to be. I am pretty tall at 6'3 and have small bone structure so maybe it's because my leg bone isn't big in the front...i don't know. Am I crazy or can some of you relate?

I mentioned this to someone else... the idea that I doubt anyone is every absolutely content with how they appear. It's always leaner, bigger, taller, wider, harder, etc.

I'm sure you're not alone on the symmetry issues or concerns.

Unlike the "ultimate physique" I have no V-taper whatsoever. My one hip juts out further than the other, abs are formed oddly, high triceps, narrow shoulders, the list goes on. lol

Which way to the knitting circle?

I understand what you mean. I am also 6'3 with 19 or 20" arms and have a small bone structure it seems. I don't think I've measure my calves now that I think of it but I do think they need to be bigger.

I also fret about one pec being bigger than the other and one shoulder bigger than the other. I think this is due to breaking my collar bone and the right side of my body hangs a little differently.

Point is, everybody obsesses about this shit lol I don't know that its a bad thing. We obviously are more particular because we work all the time to make ourselves bigger and why not try to make things look the way we want?

Thanks guys. I guess as bodybuilders we will always obsess over little details that the average person wouldn't notice. meticulous by nature I suppose

I'm not pretty enough to worry about it. I could never get my calves up to the size of my arms. I hit them hard and they grow an inch or so. I stop hitting them hard and they shrink right back down. The shape is there and I have the veins in the front and up the back but the size is just not there. I really don't care that much any more. If I want them to look OK for summer I just beat on them for a few months. I try not to be an obsessive like a girl about the size of her ass though.
