Before going on TRT in December 2010 I had never used any sort of steroids. I am only 31 years old and was diagnosed with hypo around October. I've busted my butt in the gym since 2007. My gains have been good strength wise but my bodies ability to make muscle have been very poor. In other words I don't look strong. I was always getting comments when I'd tell people what I bench, to yield a reply like "well you dont' look like you can bench that much..." You guys know where I'm coming from.
Anyhow seemed like as time went on I always found myself almost always falling asleep on the job or nodding off. I went to have bloodwork done in 2008 and the doc gave me a B12 shot. Done nothing. A couple years later I become enlightened about TRT so I go to the urologist and he does more bloodwork and my level came back at a mere 91 ng/dL. Since December 2010 he prescribed me 200mg enanthate biweekly (I split it in half to 100/week to keep levels from roller coaster effect). I feel much better since being on T. Last week I had more labs done and my levels came back at 490 ng/dL. In referencing a few charts my normal level should be around 700 for my age range. My doc is very old school and I am leery about asking him to increase my dosage. I am wondering what the best way to approach my doctor about this is. Should I print citings from studies off the net and these reference charts to show him my levels are still low? I believe 250 per week would get me to where I need to be normal maintenance. Obviously 500 would be great, lol, but I just like to feel normal and that's my main objective at this point.

Personally... I'd print off as many studies showing dose/frequency of T and effects on levels as you can. Show him you are doing the research and let him know if you are doing the T you'd like to be on the high end of the reference range rather than the low. Maybe it will help, but not likely. Good luck with that...
I'd say 150-250mg/week is probably closer to what you need. It sounds to me like you need more than your Total T tested. You need free T, E2, etc...
All posts are not for entertainment. Use the GEARS I tell you to and how I tell you to use them or I'll E-Beat you to death...
bro 91 ng/dl is very good levels, maybe you are just getting old, poor diet, have a bad work routine, there are many number of factors dude. at this age you should not have the problems you are stating. trt is not ment to bring back your levels, there are other ways you can bring back your test levels, have you tried GnRH. . look it up and read the studies. or go on a pct. but i think you just want to run a cycle, and i am pretty sure your doc will not let you do that.

??? - The NORMAL range is 240-1186 ng/dl. He feels like a$$ because his levels suck.
Go see another specialist if possible. It took me several until I got what I wanted. For now just increase the dose on your own (if you're comfortable with this). When it comes time to test again skip a dose or two to push your levels down further, that might work.
I'm not sure what may have caused my low T. For one I had a vasectomy in 2008 which was about the time symptoms started showing up and then the other logic is that I had testicle torsion (kicked in the nuts) in grade school and they were really swollen for about 2 weeks, some crap got twisted up real bad and almost had to have surgery. I've had 4 total bloods done and 490 is the highest mine has ever been. I think I'll print off alot of information from credible sources on the net and reference them at my next appointment. And for those who ask I am not fat, less than 18% easily and have a 500+ raw bench and 700+ deadlift. So I don't have a problem with strength gains but like I said I really don't look the part, which is what I want now. I want to be able to build muscle, recover faster and not be tired all the time. Thanks to those who have replied.

....? Where did you get that info from? If 91 ng/dl is very good then I must be a f*c#in superhero. My grandfather is probably at 91
