    to up or not to up dose?

    hey guys ive been running my 12 week cycle (first one) and im on week 6...so far ive been doin 500mg a week and i just got my hands on some more test just a lil xtra...anyways...now if i wanted to i could finish my cycle out at 750mg a week. From experience, would this be okay or should i just finish at 500? my weight gain has leveled off a bit and i wanna get anything possible in this cycle. what do you think? if i go 750 should i just do 2 injections of 375mg or 3 injections of 250? its test cyp btw

    Make sure that you diet contains enough calories and nutrients to support your normal growth plus your AAS growth. If you are not eating enough taking more gear wont help you get bigger. I got good gains(LBM increase with fat loss)without using AAS by fine tuning my diet. I look forward to my first cycle tho. Im almost there

    How many calories are you eating , imo 500 Is perfect for your first cycle, but if that test is burning a hole in your pocket just go to 600 no reason to jump to 750, if it isn't broke dont fix it, and remember EAT EAT EAT

    I would only bump up if 500mg a week is no longer yielding gains. No reason to put more drugs into your body if you are still gaining. You'll just have to use even more on your next cycle.

    I wouldn't change your dosage. For your first cycle 500mg/wk is good enough. Changing the dosage mid-cycle will offset your endogenous level of Test and you probably would get sides.

    At week 6 you should have only really been noticing improvement in weight and strength for the past two weeks. No way you have leveled out already, especially since this is your first cycle.

    You need to stick with 500mg and try and get a hold of some extra calories, not extra test.

    For someone that has everything else in line bumping the dosage is a good idea mid cycle but not for you.

    Not sure what the guy above is talking about and I don't think he does either.

    Maybe you should lengthen your cycle instead of moving it up since it is your first cycle.

    I can agree with you HI but please remember that OP is running his first cycle.

    IMO, OP should keep the dose at 500mg and increase the calories. The last thing you want to do is miss a growth phase but using more AAS than needed.

    I understand its his first course. Here is something I wrote a while back for guys like him.

    If you want to run a first cycle with a little more horespower than you may want to consider a modified pyramiding cycle. I have done over 20 pyramid courses and must say they are my favorite way to run aas. The human body is always fighting for homeostasis so the concept is to increase dose before gains plateau. Based on the 2009 myostatin study we can design a cycle that is effective for 10 weeks using this strategy. The following first cycle is for men that want a little more performance with added risk while only using Testosterone. The first 5 weeks a standard dose is administered to evaluate how your body responds and to determine if sides are manageable. If sides are manageable then increase the dose.

    Sample first course #2


    Week 1-5 600mg Testosterone weekly
    Week 6-8 800mg Testosterone weekly
    Week 9-10 1 gram Testosterone weekly


    10 mg Aromasin daily with the goal of keeping Estradiol between 10pg/ml-25pg/ml. Only blood work can confirm if you are in this range.


    500iu HCG twice weekly.
