    HDL/LDL question?

Just had blood work done and it was pointed out that my HDL was only 32 and LDL was too high at 145. my overall cholesterol was 199 Chol/hdl RATIO OF 6.2 non-HDL cholesterol was 167 all other levels were in check and normal ranges. Bilirubin was negative this time around. I added Liv 52 to supps and cleaned up diet but I believe the Bilirubin was a result of too long a fast last time. If I do a PH cycle of 1andro / Anabolic matrix / E-control for 4 weeks would this affect the HDL / LDL levels at all? Should the cycle be any longer maybe 6 weeks? Thanks.

I would say work on getting your overall cholesterol lower..like to 160's 170's..A Ph cycle is just gonna through off your numbers worse.

Have you recently been on a cycle, PH, AAS? If so how long ago and what did it consist of? I would definitely not go any longer than 6 weeks on the ph. You can get a cholesterol panel done for about $50 bucks, so I personally would wait a few months and get retested. I believe if you total cholesterol reaches 220-240 range doctors want to put you on Statins.

    Just my 2 cents.

Any oral PH or steroid will negatively affect your HDL and LDL. Takes quite awhile to get back to normal. Most guys think if you are on 10 weeks, then 10 weeks off will suffice. Not true.

The most recent Ph cycle I did was feb 09 and I went 8 weeks on powerlab's Halotest25 / Gaspari's Novedex XT and Powerlab's PCT. I know now that it was too long. In April 09 I had a motocycle crash and tore up my shoulder, had surgery in July and since then 8 months rehab and fiddle fucked around and went from 215lb range and 18% body fat down to 206 and 23% body fat. I appreciate the info I wished I had found this site before that last PH. I think I'll continue to lean out with HIIT, work on diet, lift and shelve the PH for now. I begining to realize at 45yo I may be going in wrong direction with Ph thanks to some good info I've beeen receiving on this site. I have found alot of good links and great info, not the answers I want to hear but at least it's time tested and accurate. Thanks for the HDL/LDL info that definately will save me from making the wrong choice on the ph. Time to strap it up and put in the work before I consider other options I thought would be a quick start. Keep the info flowing I believe in free education. Thanks.
