I agree with Victor 20mg Var seems a little too much. If this is your first time around I would recommend starting out at 5mg and working up to 10mg.
All information provided by me is for research purpose only. I do not sell illegal compounds nor can I supply anyone with a source for raw materials.

My friend's g/f has been running Var at 20mg ED for over 5 weeks with phenomenal results. No adverse sides for her either. At least not so far. He wanted her to go up to 30mg and I told him that could be a real bad idea.

I do believe that carb cycling works. I am using my wife as an example. She takes her carbs immediately post workout and she has been doing so for a rather very long time. My wife says that low carbs lead to a fatty look around her muscles. The person best suited to answer your question would be "Built", she will probably chime in sooner or later.

here it is...

You said she does lots of cardio. Does she train at all? I'm NOT a fan of recommending drugs to someone who doesnt' train because they can make those same "gains" by getting a solid diet & training program in place WITHOUT the additional complications of screwing w/ your hormone profiles.
Please consider this before you start "putting" anyone, especially women, on steroids.
Also please have HER do some research. Not just you asking. Do you or she have any idea what comes w/ screwing w/ your hormone profile to "lean out & tone up"? If not then don't start popping steroids.
Assuming this person has some sort of consistent diet & training program ALREADY IN PLACE (PLEEEEEAAAASE... dont' just dive into the drugs...), absolutely stick w/ 10 mg var / day. Because var has a very short half-life, generally accepted to be at 9 hrs, split the dose into 5 mg AM, 5 mg PM.
In terms of what to expect, please remember this is a steroid and you will add mass. Don't spend a lot of time looking at the scale and expecting it to drop. For someeone who is lean like she is, but his IMO kinda high bodyfat (not because she's fat but rather has no muscle), she will be putting on some mass. Please expect this and understand that you're doing a body recomposition. Bodyfat will drop, but weight may not.
Also are you already aware of the potential sides? Includes acne, oily hair, definitely expect a swollen *private parts*. Some women also experience water retention on var. Don't respond by runnign around trying to find diuretics - I'd then recommend you play w/ the dose and see if you can get it to drop the water, or else just live with it as you can't pick and choose the results & sides from a cycle. It is also not uncommon to experience nose bleeds.
A general statement about any steroid or estrogen manipulator is that they screw w/ the balance of "good" and "bad" vaginal bacteria and can promote yeast infections. To help prevent this, include acidophilus in your supporting supplement pile.
And last comment, NO, more is not better. There is no reason for someone who looks like this person to go higher than 10 mg var / day. Assume var takes 10-14 days to "show" itself, don't expect to pop it and start feeling immediately bust out strong. If it happens that you are using some sort of UG stuff that is not consistently or is underdosed, you might consider increasing to 20 mg, but generally I would NOT recommend this. More is not better.

Winny deepened a friends voice some years back, 15mg a day, so be careful and stop immediately if this happens.
Var seems safer.

If you have a choice ALWAYS go w/ Var.
Again, I don't get the sense that this woman knows anything about steroids so she should not be screwing around w/ anything, and if anything, var only, unless she goes a long way towards educating herself and also spend at least a good year getting the results she wants w/ diet & training. TRUST ME, 'tone up a little and lose some bodyfat' is EASY PEASY to do w/o steroids.

Thank you for you comments I just read everything to her... A friend took this and had GREAT results...
But your input has put this in it's place...
She is extremely committed to her training. And is now on her second round of the Insanity workout and follows the diet with great discipline...

Thats what is so hard. She kicks ass at the gym and goes 6 days a week. People at the gym and some of the trainers even aks her issue is in aim special training ...????
She has been extremely focused for four years now - she has always been in good shape but having a hard time getting past what you see in the picture above....
She is a stay at home mom and has all the resources anyone could ever want...
She is getting frustrated and I just finished my first cycle and the results were really great - so she says but I was hopping for something more... Now she and i were thinking about Var.
Does she lift heavy though or just "toning" and cardio? Just saying her abs look like they have good development but doesn't look like she has much muscle mass anywhere else. bf% is good though. Honestly I don't think she needs to run anything, a little more muscle on the shoulders and legs/glutes, drop a few bf points and she'd look really good. Of course she can do whatever she likes but I think she'd be fine just going heavy in the gym for a while, and then doing a cut (maybe with some ephedrine/caffeine if she feels she needs the assistance). Just my .02

It helps that you're giving some context. Some women just have low testosterone and are "hard gainers". But that said, I'd always want to know first what diet & training looks like. If she's doing "lots of cardio" like you said, as opposed to eating & lifting (i.e. resistance training w/ more than pink weights) then I'd say she's just being catabolic, and it sometimes doesn't matter how "hard" you do cardio. Its just simply catabolic and if your diet isn't geared towards hypertrophy, you're probably not going to see results.
Can you give more context to diet & training?
This is a big reason why I push so hard on NOT just throwing in var - because it might get results but the diet & training are what allow you to continue & maintain anything. You can't stay on a steroid forever to maintain soemthing that your lifestyle doesn't already support.

Bodyfat is a ratio of lean muscle mass to bodyfat - she isn't carrying much fat but she's not carrying much muscle either. You can have elite distance runners w/ high bodyfat numbers because of no muscle as well. Somethign like 24% is typical (and "healthy") for most women.
