Does anyone know if an orthopedic doc can subscribe hgh or gear.. i have an appointment this week for a continous subluxation in my shoulder... or does anyone know how to ask or what to say to get him to subscribe if they do. i was hoping he could just subscribe me something to try to help heal/fix before surgery talk... dont want to go under the knife again...thanks..

Klutch, I asked this exact thing to my Ortho Surgeon and he was against it. He felt that muscle growth would outpace connective tissue growth and cause more problems instead of less.

If you go to a surgeon he will suggest surgery, go to a chiropractor and he pushes adjustments,..go to an MD and you'll get meds. See the picture? You gotta find an anti aging doc or someone who is all about "the other side" good luck buddy

This was post-surgery, asking about recovery and maintenance. I asked him because he's a big boy and a black belt as well, so I figured he would know where I'm coming from. If you have structural problems in your shoulder, very few non-surgical solutions.

Most docs are very careful about prescribing hormones. GH is only going to come from an anti-aging doc and most other docs are just careful about the test - over the last several years many of them have been checked / investigated if they had been prescribing anything.

3rd Degree TKD with some Kick Boxing and a little MMA. BUT I'm an old guy now. When I get my left knee scoped out ( I can't fold it up all the way), it's BJJ time for sure. That stuff fascinates me.
