    On cycle cardio???

Hey guys. I was wondering if I should do any cardio while on cycle? Im about 175 pounds at 5'8, Not that big but I have a good muscle base built. My cycle will be run with a goal of gaining as much mass as possible. So should I do cardio while on AAS? Also if I should, what type of cardio? I enjoy running, so would this be good? Or should I just stick to a stationary bike? thanks in advance guys.

Keep in mind if you're trying to gain mass, you have to replace whatever calories you're burning doing cardio. It's hard to eat enough to keep up in the first place. Do a little for cardiovascular health if you like but I wouldn't go overboard with it on a bulk

I might say 15 min of walking treadmill every day / after training more just for cardiovascular capacity and maybe to help keep your bulker a little less fatty. But if your goal is very specific to building, and you're running a cycle (i.e. stressing your body) for that goal, running tends to be catabolic. Maybe save it for your cutting phase?

i agree with digitalash about getting in enough calories but a lot of people HIGHLY over-rate the correlation between cardio and muscle loss. even doing 45-60 minutes of straight cardio will have an extremely minimal effect on muscle being burned for energy. cardio is good both on cycle and off cycle for a handful of reasons you can look up.

unless your diet is shitty you should be fine.

sounds like fun lol. Maybe switch to delts or something next time you have a leg workout coming up? Try quads too, alot of people say its worse but it actually feels better for me, at least I can sit down fine :P . Also I think it helps to do it early in the morning, that way you're up moving all day and it loosens up, and it feels a little better by the morning. Look on the bright side, at least you'll have plenty of chances to find what works for you lol.

I don't think that's the point. I think that what people are saying is that if you are bulking, you need as many calories as you can get. When on a bulking cycle, all of your calories are going to build muscle. Doing cardio takes away some of those calories that could be going to build muscle.

What you're taking about is muscle atrophy due to doing too much cardio. Like running a marathon.

Two different story lines going on.

This ^ . If you are trying to bulk I still think it is a good idea to do light cardio to keep your heart pumping and keep fat and water to a lesser extent. I do cardio 3 days a week any where from a light jog for 10-20 min, bike, or just a brisk walk on an incline grade to hit calves and pump heart. It really makes me feel bad if I don't do cardio on cycle. I feel like it hinders my performance and makes me feel sluggish. Just don't overdo the cardio and make sure you eat enough of the proper foods.

For bulking you could go as low as three 20-30 minute sessions per week.
