I cannot stress this enough - do not talk to the police under any circumstances, do not surrender your right to remain silent. I personally know a few people that screwed themselves over by trying to "buddy up" with a police officer. This is probably one of most important and useful videos that I have ever seen in my life:

also depending on ur state you may have more rights you dont even know about, for example in NJ, for a police officer to check your car they need probable cause.. also a new case came out this year stating that if the police officer has backup, a exigent circumstance does not exist so he cant search your car without a warrant. he can get a telephonic warrant from a judge tho,

if any of you are still in school, id recommend taking a constitional law class as part of undergrad, but you may get forced into a shit load of reading/writing

same in florida.. they can only search if you say yes when they ask or probable cause...i always tell them no and i was always clean.. just cause there profiling me... but that was back in the day... i dont really get pulled over anymore now that im older. lol

Yea, they are definately not your buddy. No warrant=no search. None of this "if you don't have anything to hide, you shouldn't have a problem" either... Its amazing how many people give up their rights, just for the asking...

yeah^^^ if you dont play their game... they sure as hell will play it for you. best to be nice and polite and tell them what they want to hear. find a common ground between the both of you may it be sports, women the weather. whatever the case may be. only time you dont say shit is when you looking at a serious felony and you actually understand why you dont say anything. you just got pulled over with 5 ki's of cocaine... officer - "where were you coming from?" you- "oh my house sir" thats the kinda shit you wanna stay away from.

idk i'd prefer to be courteous even tho i hate the fucks but that extra half inch in my cuffs for that hour ride in the back of the car means something to me. or when they write on your report how you acted, shit goes far in court trust me.

also say no to them when they ask you to search your vehicle... they will walk around your car for a half an hour.. then somehow they start smelling pot.. ive had them pull out a chemical test and test my windows for resins.. they have been legally allowed to search my car because i was "nervous" trust me man... act cool courtious. or try it for yourself

Whaaaaat....A chemical test ? What fucken ass clowns. They also got them 360 license plate readers now too if your shit isn't up to date it alerts them an your pulled over within minutes

About A month ago I got pulled over after leaving the gym and because I had a cut off tshirt on the cop asked if I had steroids in the car. I didn't but it still made me think twice and get a little nervous. I'm sure this has happened to a lot of us who pump iron.

got pulled over after having a killer leg session and hiit. stopped at the store for water or something on the way home, cop pulls me over said i was walking funny out of the store.. asked me where i was coming from/going, i said from the gym now home... he looked and my then much pudgier ass and asked, no really, where wereyou? :facepalm:

Most cops are dickholes that abuse their power. They got picked on as kids and now they feel the need for people to respect them.

Keep your cool, shut your mouth, and know your rights. NEVER consent to a search...NEVER. When you exit the car, roll the windows up and lock the doors. Exit and do not let them peak around in there. Normally they get a good look when you get your insurance and registration.

One time I hopped in my jeep with no shoes on or anything. Top off. I needed to get some cell phone service. I was cornered by two cops and they pretty much searched my car without gaining entry because the top was off. Even threatened to give me a ticket cause I didn't have shoes. "That doesn't allow you to feel the pedals as well, it's illegal." Seriously? Do they even think before they talk?

On a side note, I was drunk one night, had a sober driver, and got into a car wreck. I was seated in the car with my belt on when they arrived. They asked me to step out of the car and arrested me for Public Intoxication with a huge ass smirk on their faces. After that, I trust no cop.

You know what chaps my ass? When you see a cop speeding by you on the highway only to find out down the road there at the local convenience store grabbing their coffee. Who polices the police??? Never did care for cops!! Just when I need them LOL .

Not all cops are bad people. They have a very stressful job to do. Most people hate on them and they deal with alot of scum everyday so they have to be on toes with everybody.This is no reason to treat people like shit and some do for no reason at all. It is a two way street all i am trying to say is look at it from the other side too.... Nice video and very good info....No I am not a cop but i do respect those who serve..
