If you get a letter saying it was taken, well, you aren't getting it.

Thanks! Me too, pretty bummed out right about now but hoping all will be well.

I'm leaving now to the gym, gonna hit the treadmill till I stop stressing out or till I pass out which ever comes first, probally passing out.

If customs decides to seize, you'll get a notice soon. But for something to sit in customs a day or two is not uncommon - especially over a weekend. Don't sweat it. Even if it was seized and you get notice, it's not like they'll come looking for you. Hopefully your guy has reship policy, so you should be covered.

If they decide to snatch it, you'll get a notice and even then, don't worry - they won't come after you. They just give options to sender and receiver to process and pay the fees to get it out of there. It's one of customs' ways to make money. Since neither will try to pay to get it thru, hopefully your guy has a reship policy and will resend to you. Again, don't sweat it and if it happens to get snatched to make money off fees to get it released, just have your guy reship to you.

I had ordered wine several months ago and it got seized. They wanted several fees paid just to get it released and it would have cost me more to do that than what I paid to buy the wine. Ridiculous! A year ago, I bought a new motherboard for one of my servers from a foreign manufacturer - got seizure notice and it cost me almost $200 in fees to get it released and sent to my door! I wouldn't have paid the fees had it not been a critical component that I needed for one of my servers. The server was custom built before I took over the business, so I needed a motherboard that was compatible for upgrade. That was a case where the motherboard costed way more and I was in need of it right away to get things back up and running as soon as possible for the business.

You'd be surprised what customs snags just to make money off fees. They pick off random packages and it doesn't matter what they are, just make sure your guys has a reship policy so you can get what you ordered.

Just updated "RELEASED FROM CUSTOMS" I am so happy they let it go, only held it for 4 days counting weekend so really two days, that was close. I'm stoked have a blessed day everyone and be healthy.
