    shipping question

    So, an order was sent on the 10th of may. tracking says "Foreign International Dispatch, May 12, 2011", and the last update says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment." Does this mean that the package is still waiting to be sent out of the country, or is it just not updated? Anyone have experience w this?

    It's also not your job to create your own rules and enforce them. I'm merely asking a question about what those status updates mean. My question does not give out any info bout sources, shipping times etc.

    you may have just be given a delivery confirmation number, if thats the case the item may have been sent out but wont be updated until it passes customs and arrives at your local post office, and then it will be out for delivery

    Look, I'm pretty familiar with the rules, and I'm not aware of a rule that I'm breaking. There isn't any info in my question that should raise any concerns. If I'm wrong, then I'm sure a mod will let me know.

    you didnt break a rule, you are asking a question about postal carrier service, anyways you will be notified when it goes into customs, that is if you live in the usa, and from there it will show when your package leaves customs and is on to you...that is if you have a tracking number.
