    I havnt been able to hit glutes without help for quite some time.
    I can reach my ass cheek....but doing do while supinating my hand and keeping it steady enough to not slash my glute into hamburger just isnt happening.

    you mean blood comes out after you pull out the syringe? it means the needle passed through some vein but didn't end up in one.

    Yes, that's exactly what happens and what I thought. I am like "hey I aspirated"... but when you go straight in IM injection the odds of being in a vessel are slim if you hit the correct site. As you'll pass the superficial vasculature and not hit anything deep. I get this less often with lower side delt than higher up.
