Yes room temperature should be fine unless it HCG and already mixed then it has to be refrigerated

Away from direct light and at room temperature. That is, assuming the ambient room temperature is in the range of 60-75F.

Yep anywhere dark is good, I'd imagine it takes some pretty extreme temps to cause any problems with gear. If your house is that hot or cold you have bigger problems! Direct sunglight is what's really gonna degrade it, don't leave it in your windowsill and you shouldn't have any problems.
