Can you Cut THAN bulk in 1 cycle?

    Question Can you Cut THAN bulk in 1 cycle?

    For example
    Week 1-8 : Cut down to 185 8-9% BF While retaining most if not all LBM
    Week 9-16 : Clean Bulk to 200 10% BF


    Stats -
    Age : 29
    Weight : 200 16% Bodyfat
    Height : 5'9

    This is not for me, but for my older brother, he has 12 cycles under his belt & is looking to get cut/add some extra mass before he heads to Cancun this summer. I've searched around to check if it was okay to bulk THAN cut, however many are saying you could easily lose your new gains if you do that, & he also just wants to get the cutting over with asap. So would it be okay to cut THAN bulk in one cycle?

    He has Test E, Test Prop, Winny, D-bol, Aromasin, Clomid, HCG & Nolva.

    I don't see the point man, at 16% he can get down to 10-11% easy, without losing ANY lbm, assuming he diets and trains right. Have him look into PSMF, seems like it would be perfect in this situation.

    Maybe toss in a little clen toward the end, then he'll be G2G for his cycle.

    In a word, no. Better to bulk and do a recomp later, or focusing on lowering his bodyfat. Doing both in the same cycle is counter-productive.
