    A recap of my first cycle

    First of all, I just want to say thanks for all the help I've received here. My first cycle has been a positive experience, and I'll try to provide as much detail as possible.

    I'm 37 and I've been lifting for about seven years now. I'm 6'4" and naturally thin. It took me several years of training hard and heavy eating to increase my weight to 195 from about 160. I also have an underlying medical condition that makes gaining weight difficult.

    Anyway, I recently ran a cycle of test e, at 500 mg per week, split up into two 250 shots. I ran this for 10 weeks. The third week I added 30 mg daily of dbol to the mix. This stuff worked fast and was strong. My strength increased immediately and significantly. The only problem was that by the third day on it my diarrhea was so bad that it was really getting uncomfortable, and by the end of the week I had to stop taking it. It's too bad too because that stuff made me feel awesome and strong!

    So I just continued with the test e. I've felt stronger on test, although not the immediate rush of strength I got from the dbol. My strength gains were mote gradual. But after about five weeks I started to put on size. By the end of the ten weeks I went from 195 to 217 lbs. My body fat increased slightly from 10% to 12%. I'm currently working the pct with hcg injections, but I don't know how much of that is really even necessary.

    I think I was fortunate in that I never really got hit too hard with side effects. My biggest problem was gastrointestinal and frequent inability to sleep. Some very minor acne too. My libido was definitely in high gear though. It wasn't so much that I was getting boners all the time as much as I found myself to just be consumed by the thought of sex all the time. Even more than usual lol. Seriously, I just think about fucking everything constantly. Every woman I see. My balls atrophied slightly and my existing male pattern baldness has accelerated significantly.

    I was kind if hoping to have put on more muscle, but I think I should probably be happy with my gains. I honestly could not have eaten anymore or worked out any harder. Before I started taking this stuff I guess I had this idea in my head that when I was finished I would look like some huge monster, when in reality I wasn't that big to begin with. That said, I definitely look much bigger and people that see me every day ask me if I've bulked up. So I'm happy.

    So now I'm thinking of doing a second cycle in the fall. Since my experience with orals wasn't good (and considering my weak stomach), I want to do a second cycle of all injectables, with test e again and maybe another compound. I'm not sure which to add though. I'm really just concerned with adding muscle mass and hopefully keeping it on. What do you guys suggest? Injectable dbol? Or maybe tren or another compound? What's the next logical step up from test given my age, stats and experience?

    stop asap you need clomid! who told you to use hcg during pct?

    btw how many cals were u consuming per day? and do you know how much above maitnance you were eating? awesome gains

    My source told me that a mild low dose of hcg post cycle would help restart natural testosterone production.

    I've been eating about 5,000 calories per day. All I do is eat. The eating is harder than the lifting. For me it was just really important to consume as much protein as possible. Tons of chicken and tuna, as well as whey protein shakes galore.

    i hear ya, its tough for me to get cals in
    but you could use hcg once right before ur pct, but never during, bc it doesnt restart natural production, its just for keeping balls normal size, and it supressive just like a steroid
    its for use during cycle from the 2nd week to the last week

    Congrats on the gains brother and welcome to the wonderful world of anabolics!!

    Now as far as your second cycle if you're looking to bulk up and add some weight maybe you should consider a test-c and deca cycle for your second. I know ppl love dbols, but adding another oral will probably not effect you like them. They are very strong. Maybe think about adding Halo into this cycle for the 1st 4-6 weeks to get your strength up and add some hard muscle. It isn't going to add the weight like dbol is but the strength gains are greater in my opinion.

    HCG will suppress natural LH production as it mimicks LH in your body. It is NOT for PCT, but can be used just prior to PCT or preferably throughout your whole cycle.
