Maintaining a good diet in my opinion is the key. Many come off, stop eating enough or correctly and some even cease training or training as they did on cycle and blame the muscle loss on being off. You will lose some size if you gained a lot of water weight/mass, but that's expected. Creatine may help also, but in my opinion, diet is the biggest factor.

    diet as indicated by 5150

training also. I have seen many guys hit it real hard while they are on, and then when they are off they hardly do anything and basically go nowhere at all.

I always load up on creatine after pct but that's really more mental than physical. Diet is most important. Naturally, you will lose some, but you shouldn't lose much strength at all. The worst thing you can do is keep the same training regime as you had while on. Overtraining after cycle is the fastest way to lose your gains. Take it back a notch a train for maintenance. Then after a month or so start hitting it hard again. Overtraining after cycle is just as common as undertraining

I agree. Always thought about this period as a kind of stasis. Train heavy and with low volume, and keep my diet in order and things will progress fine. I like to get in to the gym and get out right after cycling, but keep up the training intensity while I'm there. Main focus is not on making gains but preserving the muscle I've gained. Biggest problems I see peole having is when they try to cut too soon or train too much right after cycling.

I HIGHLY reccomend running peptides or GH throughout the cycle up to a couple of months post PCT. Thats a no-brainer in my opinion.

    ^^^This

...and also many people make the mistake of training with the same volume that they did on-cycle. Without AAS, your body needs more recovery time. Train with the same intensity, but be sure to decrease volume.

If I ever come off, I'm considering HIIT such as Tabata Interval Training in order to hit my fast twitch muscle fibers and change things up. The intensity will certainly be there but the weight will be less while reps will increase. This would go on for 4-6 weeks and then I'd train traditionally with heavy weight low reps for 2-3 weeks before switching back to HIIT. Curiosu as to how my body would react/preserve musculature with such kind of regiment. Of course, this is hypothetically speaking. That is, if I decide to someday stop gear completely - i.e. No blasting, no cruising.

If I choose to come off, I would run pct. My body's ability to restart its own testosterone production will determine whether or not I would require hrt/trt for life.

I'm on TRT for the rest of my life, and it has it's good and bad points. The good is feeling better, having a libido again and getting pharmacy grade gear for cheap. The downside is the realization that every week for the rest of my life I have to stick a fucking needle somewhere in my body to feel "normal".

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to pin, it's a great feeling, but also a curse at the same time knowing that I have to do it.

Good question actually. I'm yet to cruise - ever. I've always blasted then did pct and came off. Now I'm in the process of deciding to cruise when I'm done blasting. I would think the cruising would be more about maintaining the gains acquired from blasting and then re-blasting would be like a jumpstart and each phase of this would entail some type of improvement such as added muscle, body recomp, etc. depending on a number of other factors including but not limited to: exercise regiment, diet, specific gear and so on.

Just came off a blast 4 weeks ago and I am cruising now and have lost no size, or strength. Can't say if that is the same results for everyone, but has been for me. My workout is still intense and my diet is the same so I am sure that helps. Last cycle I ran deca for 10 weeks the next one plan on 16 weeks to hopefully get more gains.

I think at a point, blasting and cruising becomes a moot point. You are still introducing a higher then normal amount of test into your system then your body is naturally used to. I do drop a bit of "weight" when I cruise, but it's all water, as long as my diet and training are in good order. But as many stated above, guys come off and change everything, their diet, training, everything. My old training partner never did cardio until he started his PCT, dropped his calories and started taking shorter rest breaks and could never figure out why he lost size and strength. I finally told him what he was doing and he really wasn't aware that he was doing the damage himself.

Just come off smart, cycle smart, PCT smart, blast smart and cruise smart.
