Just wondering if you inject air into the vial before pulling the oil out of both vials.
I've always injected a ml of air into the vial before pulling a ml of oil out, just wondering if you do this when combining 2 different oils into the same pin?
should I not even worry about pushing air first?

yes what?

use seperate needle and syringe to pump air into second vial and then stick the original (first) pin in to draw...
needles and shit are cheap...but this is just my guess...![]()

yeah, I thought bout that. was just kinda hoping someone would say that they never push air first and have no problems. much easier this way, just worry bout having trouble drawing oil. My wife is an RN and although she doesn't use many multi-use vials, she never pushes air first.

Your'e on your way, good luck![]()

Draw from multiple vials with a 21 ga. Then pin with either a 22 ga. 1-1/2" if 3 ccs or 23 ga. 1" if less than 3 ccs. I like to pin deeper if pinning a volume of 3 ccs or more in order to ensure deep deposit of all the gear.
If drawing from new vial, you'll be virtually unable to plunge any air into it because it is already full of pressure (or at least it should be). As the gear is depleted, it can be helpful to add some air to help speed up the draw process.
I actually draw with an 18g pin and I don't have to pump air in at all. The smaller gauge needles make it a little tougher to draw, however using an 18g is like using a garden house. Then I switch to a 23g or 25g.

thank you everyone. I'll start pushing air into first vial, none into second.

I thought that others would have already posted this, but I purchased some extra 10ml and 20ml sealed sterile vials with my pins which I use to premix into.
One other thing I do is that when I remove oil from a vial to create my premix, that vial will become my next premix vial.
Make sure you use alcohol wipes on all vials.
