    Strange Inject Question...?

Last night I was doing my daily stick, I was z-tracking in my Quad as I do sometimes but messed up...

Soon as I had needle all way in I sorta slipped of my support hand, so my skin sprang back to its normal position, the needle also sprang with it from a 90 degree angle to a 45 degree angle.

I didnt want to re-pin so I just got my hands back on and finished the injection on the angle where it was.

So Today for the first time ever with this cycle I have pretty bad PIP in that leg. My question is is it possible to do tissue damage from moving a needle like that? Would that be causing me the additional pain? Is it anything I should worry about?

I am no expert, but let me just say, if that happens again, pull the skin back to the position you had it or re-pin.

I have done this a few times, but never injected at the 45 degree angle, I would always re-pin. Hope you're OK brother.

It is painful because you caused some damage from moving the needle around in the muscle. This is like a small knife inside your muscle. You should be ok unless it was unsterile injection practices. If everything was good then you should feel better in a couple days.
