Myth of the day: Overfilled amps contain more hormone

Usually false. Many companies either will have their amps filled directly to 1ml, while others (Jelfa for example) will have their amps slightly over or underfilled, yet will state "each amp contains ***mg". Meaning that batch may have been produced at slightly over or under the standed by a fraction, so the filing process accommodates for the difference so that each amp has the exact same amount of hormone.

There are a few occasions though, when some labs simply overfill to accommodate for loss of oil during transfer.

My script Test Cyp in 1 ml vials are all overfilled by .1ml

Most do, yet some only state the mg of hormone per amp.

The only reason I could see for an amp being over or underfilled is due to sampling of the final product by the pharmaceutical. If something comes in at 240mg/ml and it was desired 250mg/ml the dispensing machine in the assembly line would be adjusted to fill at 1.042ml per vial until that batch was used up; and appropriately under 1ml if it were overdosed.

This to me would be an indication of a the raw hormone powder being more or less pure than what was stated from the source.

Either way its splitting hairs, ±10% dosing you wouldn't notice a difference anyway.

ha, I was wondering that myself.

250mg/ml means that there is 250mg per 1 ml of oil.

1.1 ml means there is 275mg of hormone in the amp. I think they are overfilled because there is always a small amount lost inside the pin.

Of course, I only use the finest FDA approved gear. If it was UG I would just assume that it's under filled and under dosed

bayer, galenika, norma hellas, they are all over-filled a little.

I'm using normas now and I think they are over filled by 1/10ml. I'll pay attention tomorrow, it possible it is more than 1/10. I believe these are the first legit Normas I have ever received.
